First off, I didn’t get the room I paid for in the original booking, months ago. I received a far lesser room, but still had to pay the full price for the “nicer” room. The room I booked was supposed to be bigger with a queen bed and a double bed. It was also supposed to have a bigger kitchen and dining area. The tv barely worked. Half the channels didn’t come in, even with clear weather. The tv volume, even when turned all the way up, you could barely hear. I was “accidentally charged twice, once on two separate cards, and then refunded back to the wrong card. Most of the day Saturday, there were construction workers constantly walking across the patio area, bringing in materials and tools, to remodel one of the rooms next to us. The only communication with staff was through text, to my knowledge, there wasn’t even a Lobby or front office to go to. The only staff on the property was the cleaning and her dog. Overall, this is the worst experience I’ve had with Booking.com.

The room was across the street from the main part of the hotel that was beachside. Thqt information was not listed on Booking.com. I did not know part of the hotel was across the street at booking, as I have 2 really young children so crossing A1A to go to the beach or the pool was horrible. Also, there was no employee in the office at check in so i couldn't have the option to change rooms.. Parking was pretty much not existent across the street, we had to drive across the road to park. The carpet in the bedroom was sticky like it was soaked in syrup, our feet became black. The couch is outdated and felt gross to sit on.

The room with 2 beds was spacious with a full kitchen.

Rooms were terrible. wiring needs to be updated, bugs in one of the rooms. between 2 rooms had 4 towels, and a dirty one hanging on back of bathroom door. No manager on site, had to text or email and wait for a response.

I would love for booking.com to reach out to me. We had dead bugs in our bed along with hair on the sheets. There were roaches in the room and was told it was because we had our door open. That’s Bs I can provide pictures along the door showing the gap in the door when closed. Anything could come in. I can provided many pictures of the beds with dead bugs and hair and many pictures of the roaches. I also have the messaging between the hotel and us about all this. Though messaging they said they were about to start a major renovation, but booking.com should have never allowed such a gross, disgusting rental on their site. We tried to find another hotel to stay at as we were there to attend a wedding. Everything within 50 miles was booked due to a cheer competition in Daytona. Please reach out to me.

Lamp in bedroom did not work & one TV had a quirk or two but these did not have big impact on quality of our stay. Staff showed us how to override TV issue so all was good.

The facilities were dated but quite sufficient for travelling with dogs. Staff was exceptionally courteous & helpful. Convenient to eateries, grocery store, & conference we were in town for. Even gave us towels for the dogs ... liked having 2 beds in the bedroom one of which was lower/ easier for our senior animals.

They say it's beachfront and they have the rooms crossing the street. Very few rooms are beachfront. Its a very old motel with very old furniture. The pool isn't climate. We arrived and they have a room crossing the street and I didnt accept it. Few minutes later the receptionist found a smaller room beachfront and I got it for safety for my kids, i felt he was looking for a tip for that. The avenue to cross is very dangerous, if you have kids it's a very bad idea. Sadly I paid $168 for a night at this filth and the Hilton was only $30 more expensive and they didnt give me a discountfor the smaller room. BIG mistake.

The bathroom shower water was not real hot and could not lower the air conditioning pass 70. Stuffy room!

Great Customer Service. Always asked if we needed anything. Super nice and kind. Absolutely loved my stay. Not sure when I'll be back but definitely planning to stay there again when I return!
