I had an incident where an employee thought I had checked out. He knocked on the door. As I got up to answer he began pushing the door and broke the hinge. 😫. I didn’t feel safe nor did my kids after that. I had one more night. I also got there very early due to the check out from my previous hotel. I asked to leave my bags there, the mgr got angry. She did move the items behind her desk. Again I have kids with me. It was disturbing how these employees acted.

I wasnt sure why we didnt get any housekeeping questions till the day we checked out but its not like we needed anything in terms of sheets or towels.

The room was very comfortable and the proximity to the beach was great. The weather wasn't the greatest but we still enjoyed strolls on the beach. When we arrived, the lady checking us in was very nice and friendly, plus a wealth of information. Breakfast was limited but we were thankful for the food that was there. The small fridge and microwave in the room where great for us.

Facility needs more handicap parking places as I was reprimanded for parking in handicap spot w decal by another guest.

Breakfast was good. Having to transport handicap person from one building to another was bothersome. Handicap room should be located closer to breakfast area.

SMOKING ALLOWED ON BALCONY RUINED our balcony time. This should be a nonsmoking facility. Paid hundreds of dollars for a room and couldn't even sit out without the stench of smoke and weed blowing up from other balconies. I can't even believe they would allow other guests to ruin the experience for others. The wifi was pretty much unusable (spotty at the very best), tiny pool. The bathroom had no fan and was three feet from the bed. Yikes!

Microwave and fridge in room, partial ocean view balcony room, location, free parking, beach access, free breakfast, pool, quiet part of island yet a quick drive to everything you need, sink outside of bathroom, easy to wheel our beach cart over the decking (protects the dunes) to the beach.

Breakfast could have been better. We ate a lot of oatmeal. They could add some eggs and sausage to make it better.

We loved the location. The hotel itself is a bit dated, but clean. Breakfast was not what we thought it would be. We were expecting more. But we made do.

Breakfast was mainly carbs....but the pastries were good. The frozen, then heated sausage sandwiches were ok. I made 1 sandwich out of the 2 little sandwiches that were in a package so not to eat as much bread. Coffee was good.

The bathroom door in our room drug the floor and the handle was loose. The fan in the bathroom didn't work so it got very steamy when you took a shower

The room had a damp feeling that the air conditioning did not seem to be able to fix. And, some type of room freshener was used that made the first night difficult to enjoy.

The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. Loved being right on the beach. If I returned, I would want a room facing the east.

I didn’t like that it was pay parking everywhere we went. Maybe they could offer a parking pass for the day. The parking was not good for me.

I loved everything about this place!! The island was right at my room! The rooms was cleaned the staff was friendly. A great place to relax and eat all the seafood you can stand!!

The location was great and walk to beach was short, literally few steps. There were restaurant walking distance. The lighthouse was a mile walk. The pier was a 2 mile walk. The area was clean.

The air unit sounded like someone was knocking on the door ever time it came on, so we didn't get much sleep.

had requested shower only - due to my elderly aunt cannot lift her legs high enough to get in a tub. didn’t get that but it was a last minute booking due to unexpected death in our family. So I knew it was a slim chance but was hoping. Also the carpet was damp and the curtains were wet due to condensation in the room. The beds are a little high for older folks.

The floor in the room was disgusting I laid towels and kept my shoes on when walking around. The room was clean but floor was gross.

The lady who check us in was extremely kind and gave recommendations to a restaurant Sundai cafe which exceeded our expectations for dining experience.

The breakfast was basically like snacks, but better than having nothing. The hallways smell like smoke. The toilet runs. Other than that everything was good.
