Rooms and hallways are extremely dated however they were clean. No housekeeping service unless requested which for me was fine.

The rooms were extremely old and outdated . When I booked , online said check out was at 12, but on my key card checkout said 11. I was calling the front desk ( from an extremely old phone ), and the front desk kept just picking up the phone and sitting it down. I could hear them in the background talking , and never came back to the phones .

Making customers sign up for your rewards just to get free wifi is crap. I pay enough to stay there, Time to start thinking about a remodel. Beds are on the hard side, not very comfortable.

Shower took long to get warm. The shower head was leaking. I took a picture of how poorly it was tried to be fixed. Shower heads have been majorly, advanced over the years get with the times and have more than a five dollar showerhead.

Rooms looks old. My first one the AC doesn't work. I had to ask for room change 15min after my arrive.

When we checked in the person at the front desk was rude like he did not want to be there. He was on his phone leaning on the counter and made an unpleasant expression when he saw us approach the counter. He waited until after we ran our credit card to inform us that the pool was closed and then when we asked why there wasn’t a notice online he said “on booking.com there wasn’t but if you would’ve visit our official website there is a notice there “ in a tone meaning it was our fault not to be informed. We asked to cancel the reservation right away a since the reason we booked the hotel was to let our kids use the pool, we were doing a staycation. .. we still have not gotten our money back (almost $500) and it’s very enraging that the hotel chain doesn’t provide all the information related to the facilities on third party websites as booking.com, if the staff is aware that not all info is provided why don’t they inform the clients right away at check in BEFORE they charge our credit cards. Not booking a Double Tree Hotel ever again!

I would have preferred to have 1 room with double king beds as advertised on the site. Rather than separate rooms. And I feel that for the price you pay, breakfast should be free.

The rooms are fairly quiet, which is great for privacy.

I didn’t like how the ceiling was leaking with water damage in the bathroom and pieces of the ceiling had fell off! I took pictures and showed it to the front desk so they can repair that room with future guest!

I love the scenery especially when we walked in the lobby absolutely beautiful.

Don't pay for the breakfast, it was among the worst hotel breakfast I've had. If you get a free voucher you can make a waffle that is good. The bacon was good. Anything else that requires cooking was bad. There was water leaking from the ceiling in the breakfast area, they had a bucket to catch it. We found a cockroach on the ceiling of our room. The room was hot, we had to open the window vents because the air conditioning wasn't getting cold but then couldn't close them because the knobs were rusted. I'm pretty sure the leftmost elevator in the lobby is broken, I never saw it operate. I feel like this hotel was once very nice but there isn't enough money being put into facility upkeep. For example, you can see a lot of paint missing from bathroom doors from normal wear and tear that could be easily fixed with a fresh coat. For the money we spent we expected more.

The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. There was a hiccup where they didn't think that my credit card was charged when it actually was. They figured it out after a few minutes and comped us free breakfast for the trouble. The lobby was nice and the rooms were comfortable. The lobby bathrooms were clean.

Room furniture was tattered. Walls had no pictures, but there were picture nails in wall. Carpet looked dirty. The cookies were hard and dry. The hotel seemed gloomier than my last visit in 2019.

I was not provided the room I booked for, booked a double queen and was told they did not have any available, but “upgraded” me to a king. Also had to wait til 4/4:30 for check in. The rooms are very small and do not match what exquisite taste the lobby has. The carpet in the rooms looks extremely old and gross.

The location was near many restaurants, experiences, bars and malls. Everything you need was within 10 minutes.

The television went out for hours. The internet was out for hours as well. Which prevented me from finishing up my work. A complete inconvenience and there was really no solution to this problem! Terrible! I’ve never experienced this at a hotel. I traveled almost 5hrs to stay here!

The breakfast was wonderful. The staff was excellent and very polite.
