Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThey didn't have enough towels, and wash clothes in the room.

United StatesThe Hilton honors promotional sales staff in the lobby daily was a BIG turn-off. It makes the stay feel very commercial. I would suggest a promotional sign and not a live staff. It would be a reason for not staying there or another Hilton hotel again for the fear of being sold to daily by someone you have to pass by (lobby elevators). Thank you.
Front desk (young Black lady) was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Daily housekeeping was good.

ChinaThe decoration of the guest room seems a bit old, and the shower faucet in the bathroom is difficult to adjust
The sheets were very clean and good quality, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good, the dining environment was good, the waiters in the restaurant were proactive; the gentleman at the front desk was easy to communicate with and deal with; the lobby manager was friendly and pleasant!

United StatesIt felt like a very bland/anonymous convention hotel, from the lobby to the room - no personality whatsoever. I had breakfast coupons, so ate breakfast there, but it was a lower mediocre typical convention hotel buffet - unripe melon, lukewarm potatoes, dishwater coffee, etc.
The location is very central, and is very convenient whether one wants to walk around historic neighborhoods or get something to eat. The property was extremely clean, the staff very professional, and the smart key on one's phone worked like a dream. The bed was comfortable. At breakfast, I appreciated that they gladly made me scrambled eggs without milk products (the premade ones had cream) and had almond milk available upon request. Being a half block from the airport SEPTA line was really great.

United States2 things. 1. It’s advertised as having parking. When you look further into it they say there is a garage close to the property that is $40 per night. Upon arrival I was informed the garage has nothing to do with the hotel despite that they are attached, and the parking garage has hotel directions inside. I was also told it was $40 dollars per day which was steep but acceptable. My expectation was to spend $80 for my two days. Upon exiting the parking garage i was told by their employee that there is no day pass so every-time we stoped back at the hotel for an hour or so we were hit with an additional hourly fee. Unfortunately at this point i didn’t have any other options. So the actually payments to the garage totaled double that. Not the end of the world financial wise but it’s not right to advertise parking and give people wrong information and then get bamboozled upon arrival. 2nd complaint is employees hounding you at the elevator to join their rewards program. They were polite but it got to the point of annoying. The hotel itself was clean, the rooms were very nice. The area wasn’t great but they did a nice job of not letting that affect the hotel. I would stay again but maybe take Amtrak down and just walk and Uber.
Property was clean. Rooms were spacious and nice.

Pros - Centrally located, solid breakfast, clean hotel, close to the Terminal Market and Chinatown. And TONS of other food and shopping. Close to train station. Direct train to and from airport.

United StatesThe hotel is great but they don’t own the parking garage. The parking cost $40 per day and charge you $32 extra if you lost the ticket. So the hotel is not so worthy plus the parking cost. Consider that before you make reservations.

United StatesMichael at front desk was fantastic... But I did call and ask for bedding for the pullout sofa and whoever answered said ok.. but never brought us anything... Also the pullout sofa was just coils ... Not a mattress... My 12 year old woke up in pain.
The breakfast Buffett was ok. Wish there was pancakes or French toast. But the dining room is gorgeous and the staff was amazing.. the hotel location not so great.. we checked in at night and the parking lot was extremely nerve wracking... With men in corners getting high... Felt unsafe.
