How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The walls were very thing and we could hear the conversations from the rooms next to us.
Staff was friendly and the accommodations were perfect for what we needed.

The nearby Pioneer Park is questionable.
Price is fair. The suite is really nice with a stove, silverware, plates, pots, dinner table.

Location was just ok. On the edge of downtown. Walkable but not really in the middle of everything.

The only negative and it’s no reflection on the hotel, we’re the loud rude guest above us on the 6th floor who must have been running laps at 2:30am.
Breakfast at Homewood Suites was great and the choice of breakfast selections varied everyday making it more refreshing. The rooms were spacious, very clean and were well stocked in toiletries. It was nice to have a kitchenette that had a full size refrigerator, stove top burners and a microwave. The kitchen was even stocked with several kitchen amenities. Free parking/street parking was a bonus or you could choose to park on-site for $10 a day. There were no issues with the free parking, in fact the car did not move during the three days we were there. The staff was helpful and the check in/ checkout was seamless. Overall, the stay at Homewood Suites was great. The location was perfect for staying downtown and a better price. We will definitely stay here again!

I wish the bedroom doors closed better, and I wish breakfast was served past 9.

I didn't like that room service had to be requested. I love the bed being made daily, and the room looking nice when I come in so that was disappointing. I thought that was a part of room service. I guess not

Unfortunately not much control of the noise level of ghetto guests. The decor is dated and toilets uncomfortable. They need a little renovations. Parking sucked unless you pay for the garage.
Prime location and decent. The breakfast provided was good.

During our stay December 2023-jan 2024 the swimming pool area was under maintenance, which was unfortunate. BUT the front desk allowing you to go into other hotel where they have pool jacuzzi and sauna.
Very good location close to everything, walmart is like 10min driving, they have free parking, and every room is equipped with full kitchen (full means everything, you can literally cook anything there, and dishwasher even present), good bath inside the room

The location isn’t great. Not super safe outside.
Very clean, warm, and welcoming lobby. The suite was huge, clean, and comfortable. It was quiet, and breakfast was good.

The faucet in the bathroom was really loose. There is also a bit of homeless wandering nearby, but the police were present. I still felt like I could walk around.
Just what I needed for my stay. It had everything I typically need for my stay away from home. Rooms were very nice and the hotel was clean.

My only concern is the park next door which is where there are a lot of homeless people. I didn't have any trouble though. The park also has a farmer's market on Saturday mornings in the summer.
Very clean room with excellent breakfast (waffles, eggs, yogurt, cereal, bagels, toast, and pastries). Laundry facilities on site for only $2, as well as a small shop as there isn't anything near by. A good 10-15 walk to the convention center. Room had a full sized fridge, microwave, stove top and dishwasher.

The hotel is focused on security which we appreciate it. The key card function on the elevator was slow to engage, taking a few times to activate and unlock the elevator to start moving.
The room was very clean, modern, and laid out well. Staff was helpful and nice.
