The check in process was awesome. I did it all online before arriving, which made it fast and easy. The location is also very good; just outside the Cascades highway and walking distance to the cute town.

Didn't particularly like the noise from the road on the other side of the river.

Room was very nicely appointed in line with the western/lodge motif. Everything seem new or recently renovated. Breakfast was good. Anna at the front desk was very helpful.

A great location with a 7-10 minute walk into Winthrop. Breakfast was great with lots of food. We stayed on the ground floor which was perfect because we parked our motorcycles out front and walked in with our gear. The main road is on the other side of the river so we didn’t hear any road noise. The room was clean and generous.

Lovely family motel. Location was convenient. We loved our balcony right on the river. Check in was easy. Comfortable room.

The check-in and check-out process was very sterile. There was no one in the office past 6 pm and instructions were delivered via text message. Check-out was also done via smart phone. We did happen to check in before 6, so we were able to ask for recommendations for restaurants. That wouldn’t have been an option if we’d arrived later.

It had comfy-rustic charm and had access to safe walking to the downtown area while being a quiet retreat from the potentially busy and noisy area. We had visits from a dear and some wild turkeys. I enjoyed visiting the Homestream Park that was easily accessible by a trail under the bridge.

The uneven concrete walkways made it difficult to walk, and a light was out in the stairway. These deficiencies are an accessibility issue.

Wow! What a pleasant stay! We booked this room for after a 3 night backpacking trip in the North Cascades. We called, and the front desk woman was AMAZING! She helped us to be able to check in a few hours early. I am so appreciative of the staff. The room was also exceptional -- comfy beds, great shower, and an awesome deck looking out over the Methow River. This is the only place I will stay in Winthrop.

Breakfast is just not early enough in the day. Its peak season for tourism and your breakfast hours reflect the kind of scheduling I would expect in the off season. Not a fan. I was a little surprised to see an invoice with the room# and doorcode on the front door of the lobby during after hours. I understand providing keys/codes with a guest name for late arrivals. My issue is with posting room #s and door codes together.

Check-in and checkout procedures are awesome. The room was clean and A/C'd on arrival. Easy access to town on a new and maintained, but very exposed path. You might want to bring some sun protection during peak sun. Beds and bedding were very clean.

This was a great place to stay in Winthrop. The room was much bigger in comparison with the rooms in similar hotels/motels. The staff is super nice, if you need any toiletries, coffee, tea - they are available just outside the office at any time of the day. It is clear, that the owners respect and trust their guests. But the best part was AC! Yes, AC - it was the quietest working AC unit ever! Shocking, I know. This is the first time in my life I was staying in the hotel where I could not hear that thing making crazy sounds all night. It was super quiet. And for that I cannot recommend this place enough.
