We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

CanadaBecause it was so hot when we were there, I would have loved a swimming pool because I'm too chicken to take a dip in a river, but I knew there was no pool so it wasn't a disappointment. The AC unit was a bit louder than in other hotels but we were happy to have it.
Our king room was great. Spacious. Comfortable bed. Clean. Quiet. A nice view of the river. Breakfast was pretty standard but the waffle batter was better than at most places. Free parking was nice. It's walking distance into town over a really cool foot bridge.

United States of AmericaAngry at having to upload drivers license ahead of booking. Not ethical or acceptable. ALL other hotels I used just asked to see photo ID at check in - not to have it on file.
Appalled that I was asked to include a photo of my WA drivers license before I could register online. That is highly inssecure and because of that I will never use one of your facilities again and will recommend others don't either.

We didn't get to enjoy the breakfast as it wasn't served until 8:30 and we needed to leave before then. That was disappointing as the included breakfast was one of the reasons we picked the hotel.

United States of AmericaWhile the front desk was very nice and very good communicator, he disappeared two different times for long periods and we had to wait to check in. The breakfast hours should start earlier.
Loved the spacious room, location near town and river setting. Airconditioning and comfortable bed big pluses The free bike was great but it would be nice to have better biking equipment for rent. Bikes were dated and had no gears.

DenmarkA very pleasant facility within walking distance of Winthrop over a suspension bridge. The rooms were large, comfortable (including the beds), clean and a somewhat western theme with much wood. The rooms all have a view of the Methow River and being on the ground floor we had direct access to a lawn with picnic tables and hammocks. The breakfast was your "standard" American "continental" and not something to get excited about. May guess is that we will be repeat customers.

Beautiful location by the river and adjacent to a lovely paved 1-mile trail into the adorable town of Winthrop. Rooms were nicely decorated in lodge style and very clean. Very reasonably priced for the location.

Breakfast served too late (8:30), too meager, better to simply advertise a continental breakfast or offer none at all. Rooms were nice and well designed. Needed more comfortable chairs indoors and out. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. View was lovely. Location wonderful.
