Host was a great cook and very hospitable. Room was comfy and cozy with the selected décor, warm fireplace and spacious hot tub. Well stocked selection of movies to choose from for when we weren't out in town.

Gary is a exceptional chief, innkeeper, very kind, thoughtful, accommodating & knowledgeable host. Excellent communication before arrival.. Warm & welcoming on arrival. Phenomenal time during our few day stay. Fabulous historic home with many original and period correct furnishings. Not faux or imitation.. This home has so much character & charm. We felt not as strangers or guests, but family. Gary made our visit extremely comfortable like walking into our own house hours away from home .. We will definitely return for another stay when in the area . Thank you ! So Much for sharing your beautiful home & kindness with us .

That we couldn't have stayed longer!

This was the highlight of our little getaway. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels and b&bs and I have never felt like I was at home until now. Danny our host was born for this job. He made us feel like we were family coming to visit for the holidays. The house itself is amazing with an equal history. I can honestly say I wish I didn't have to leave.

My wife and I are older and the stairway climb was very difficult for my wife. It was a little too hot at night but I am sure there was probably a thermostat I didn't see.

Excellent location. The house was very interesting and attractive. Breakfast was good. It was a great way to start the day we planned. It was nice to have all the snacks available at no cost.

The bed in the Hollywood room needs to be replaced in my opinion. It was quite firm, squeaky, and curved so my partner and I kept getting pulled together in the night.

The breakfast was very tasty and quite a spread. We loved the homemade cookies and snacks for the night. the movie selection was unmatched as it exceeded 3000!

Danny cooks amazing pancakes and omelette for us! And the fruits are fresh delicious! We are so satisfying! Also, the tour of the house is interesting, we are definitely fascinated by the history and Renaissance style of the house. It is such a pleasure to stay in a historic home with such a hospitality. Definitely a 5-star experience in Indianapolis.

We stayed in the Hollywood room. It was wonderful in all aspects except for the bed. The mattress was a bit squeaky and a little bit uncomfortable. It was fine to sleep on for one night, but we stayed 3 and by the last night we found it difficult to get comfy.

Literally everything else about this place is amazing. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Danny, the manager, was beyond fabulous. His service and attention to detail were extraordinary. A couple examples: he asked what we wanted for breakfast & what time he should make it, he offered us a jacuzzi tub to soak in together since the one in our room was too small for couples bathing, he extended our checkout time for s long as we needed because no one else was checking into our room. Seriously, stay here. You won't regret it.

It is an old house and the stairs are very narrow... just would be helpful to have this in the info! The bed in the Hollywood room could use a backboard of some type.... wouldn't hurt if the mattress was a bit softer, like a thick overpad... just some suggestions!!

I love that the B&B is close to downtown but far enough away that you’re not in the center of everything. If you wanted to, you could still walk to a lot of places. The B&B itself is amazing. The owner, Gary, is kind and wonderful. He’ll make sure you have everything you need and provide a great breakfast. Each room is themed and some even have their own jacuzzi tub. The rooms are spacious and the bed is comfortable. I highly recommend this little gem.

What a neat place!!! My husband and I were here for a conference and truly wish we had had much more time to explore the beautiful house and get to know Gary (the owner) better. The breakfast and snack spreads were absolutely amazing! The neighborhood is also being revitalized and it is neat to see all of the old mixed with the new. We will definitely stay here again!
