Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We went there at 8pm for dinner after Ivy texted us with the dinner hours from 5pm to 9pm and they had the nerve to turn us away with one hour of service remaining. Very rude and unprofessional. Also it was Sunday and restaurant is closed Monday and Tuesday.

This hotel was so beautiful! The grounds are so well kept and so serene. We really enjoyed our room which was very comfortable and quiet. We opted for the King suite with the jacuzzi tub on the patio and LOVED it! There are curtains that you can keep open or shut for privacy and the tub fills up pretty quickly. We took our baby for her first little swim in the tub. Great fun! The location is outstanding, right off the highway and tons to walk to. I really feel like the price was a great value given the quality and location of the hotel.

United StatesBathroom is too cramped, not enough room to lay out dental and grooming products. Bed was too soft. We would have appreciated being told on arrival that the restaurant was not open for breakfast. The framed sign on the table is easily overlooked since guests are facing in the opposite direction when checking in. A flyer with the names of nearby breakfast places would be a nice gesture.
We love the grounds and enjoyed the lounge swing. Even in January, there were lots of flowers blooming. The fireplace was nice. The location is great; we could walk to restaurants, and the drives to wineries and Cambria are easy. Waiters in the restaurant were friendly. Lighting in the room was very good; some hotels have such dim lighting it is difficult to read in bed.

United StatesThe Wi-Fi connection was surprisingly poor. We couldn’t hardly use the Wi-Fi service offered by the hotel. We use a white noise 10 hour “video” on YouTube for our 15 month old to help him sleep when we travel, and it wouldn’t play. I had to download an app (standing outside our hotel room), and then play from the app. It’s a first world complaint, and overall it was more of a nuisance than anything, especially when I’m not used to bad Wi-Fi. It wouldn’t prevent me from staying there again.
Great location! Near downtown, parks, and great food. The room was clean and spacious, with a nice bathroom. Didn’t use the tub outside, felt like it uses too much water. Tried the pool, confortable for us but too cold for our little one. He loved the Koi pond.
