The room was not very clean to begin with and they don't clean unless you ask. The pool and breakfast were in another hotel(less then a minute walk, but still, since we were with a baby) which had we known we would reconsider this hotel.

Staff was very nice and helpful. location was amazing, one minute walk from the beach and plenty of restaurants options.

The air conditioning system was extremely loud as it was an older system. This was very annoying for sleeping but as it was quite hot there was no way to have it off. In general the Hotel has already had its best time a few years ago. The breakfast, bar and pool is in their partner hotel at the nack of this hotel, which I personally found a little bit strange but they just don’t have the space for it as it is a small hotel.

They didn’t offer beach chairs, the beach towels were small bath towels, the room needed a good cleaning, they didn’t offer luggage carts, the bars wasn’t open and it was not handicap accessible.

The one main thing that we weren't a fan of but was still okay with was the parking... We had to park about a block away to a parking garage. Thankfully the weather was nice... And unfortunately, they're really isn't much parking around that area, so it's not so much their fault... Just kinda wished they included that with the fee..

I am a big Penguin fanatic. So this was something my husband wanted to surprise me with 🐧 The staff was very friendly.. Everything was clean... Just A small walk across the street to the beach..

A couple of minor things to note: -the reception staff in our hotel seemed a bit indiferent. -our room did not have very good sound isolation so we could hear the neighbors' door closing, kids running through the corridor etc. It wasn't too bad, we were too tired from all the walking so it didn't affect us, but might affect other people. -unless you're getting an ocean view room, don't expect a good view, the room will be overseeing a side street / the wall of another building (it wasn't an issue, as we hardly spent any time in the room, but just something to note).

Overall the hotel was very nice: - very good location (in the middle of South Beach, and also close to the shopping&restaurants area) - the room was clean and comfortable - the breakfast included from the sister hotel was decent (classic american). We enjoyed our stay, and the price was appropriate considering the location and the breakfast included. We would go back.

We had the top floor room with the balcony/patio which was beautiful except that the room is right up against the elevator shaft so we would hear that banging/clanging all the time which was not great. The shower was also not set up well with it being open on one side, would be better with a sliding door to minimize the water that splashed all over the floor. We were also disappointed that the complimentary breakfast had changed to continental style vs our last visit it was done by the restaurant next door with limited options that was much better!

The location is perfect! The views are beautiful, so close to the beach and close to all the restaurants is amazing. This was our 2nd time at this hotel and would definitely stay again.

Main thing is that the room was positioned very close another hotel and it didn’t have sound proof windows so you could hear huge ventilation from ours and the other hotel, then around 1am very loud kitchen workers- like they smashed plates constantly, then at 5am garbage truck.. so sleeping was not possible (although bed was comfortable); very small rooms, we had to keep our suitcases on the floor since they didn’t fit closet. Small bathroom, almost no toiletries (only one very small one for 3 of us and when I asked for more I got one more on the second day)- so you need to find somewhere to buy it. Although building and furnishings are old, it is not that bad since it was clean. Breakfast could be better- we only had fried eggs, potato and either fried bacon or sausages, one type of jam and cereals. That’s it. Every day. Now, pool and breakfast was served in another hotel- again- you needed only 1 minute to get there so not an issue but the back street that you are using is very bad- smelly, dirty..overall if I could sleep during the night I would evaluate it better (I constantly asked for room upgrade with covering costs but it wasn’t any oceanfront room available)

Location - across from the beach, surrounded by restaurants. It was rather clean. Ok staff.. I read a lot of comments about staff not being present on the reception but it didn’t bother me, you could reach them during the morning and till 5pm- after that they left notes that they’re off and you could reach them in other hotel (Premier). Nice lobby- lovely decorated but a bit old.

The air conditioning was old and very noisy. The curtains didn't close properly and you wake up with light in your face. I stayed in the back room of the hotel where you could hear the garbage truck at 6:30 am every day, including weekends. You are required to pay a resort fee but you need to move to another hotel to have breakfast and go to the pool. It makes no sense.

There was no microwave to use anywhere in the building, no coffee, and there really should be brooms in the rooms for all the sand that gets tracked in from the beach.

There are accidental things that happen, but having to go to another hotel to get my sheets and towels.....with the price of that little hotel, it seems to me that they went too far.

Everything else was within tolerable range, it was a very pleasant experience, specially the location. 708.23
