How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Could upgrade the shower curtain. The drapes were very faded from the sun. There is a ceiling fan in the bathroom but no switch to turn it on, very strange.
Great location for our purpose. Beds were comfortable, room was clean. Pool was clean.

The room was clean, but around the property, some cobwebs present. We used the grills, and cobwebs were around fencing. Also, the bed squeaked...box replacement needed, perhaps.
It was a typical continental style breakfast. However, orange juice not orange punch would have been preferred. There was a variety of items.

Difficult to find staff at times. Hot tub turned my husband’s white tshirt blue! Chemicals?
Loved the view from our room. Hills and cows! Awesome view from the hot tub as well.

We always stay here when we visit the wine country in Amador County. It's clean and comfortable. My husband always looks forward to the hot tub. The rooms are spacious , the staff is always on point to meet your needs

We had the suite so our room was huge!! The pool and hot tub were amazing and we spent a lot of time playing in them. The view is gorgeous!!

We did not notice anything that was in obvious need of improvement. It was a nice big room and very clean. We noticed during the day that the staff aired out the rooms they were cleaning by opening the windows and the door and allowing the breeze to blow through the room for a good long time. As a result there was no stale air smell that you get in a lot of hotel rooms.
Breakfast was minimalist but what was available was very good and the minimalist approach keeps the cost down so I was happy with it. Coffee was good which was important because there is no Starbucks in Plymouth.

The hot tub should open up sooner
Perfect place for our wine adventure. Pretty views out our window. A little noisy at times if your room is close to the highway but not bad. Breakfast is typical quick continental style with fruit and yogurt etc. Good. Swimming pool not heated but will be good in the hot summer.

Not quite where I believe the ownership wants to be. Obviously a work in progress. Hot water was spotty, windows leaking rain water on the AC/Heater unit.
Close to Shenandoah Valley Rd and all the wineries. Quiet, friendly staff, working hard to create a nice environment.

There were like 10 pg&e forester workers that were there so loud n rowdy above and next to our room. It was ok tho because my husband sleeps so hard and the bed was absolutely comfortable. Kinda bummed there was no housekeeper, 4 days. Needed coffee and towels, bed made and vacuumed but it was the covid and it sucked.
Perfect location to our horses shows that were in the area. Good food and stores were close.

We stay here whenever we visit the area . The room was spacious and clean . The bed was comfortable . It is also close to some really wonderful wineries. Staff was great and working hard . We will stay there again

The website showed no vacancy but I was able to book via Booking.com. There were only 3 cars in the parking lot on a weekend.

I don't know. I can't complain because we were treated so nice and friendly. We just loved it.
The breakfast bar was excellent. Freash muffins, Coffee,etc. The area overall was cleaned and tidy. The front desk was awesome. The room was cleaned and well equipped Area was very quite at night. The Hotel location was execellent
