Bar closed at 9pm: but then folk arrive for food at 1730hr. An old property: so no elevator: a minor inconvenience for my wife.

Ambience was nice. Food was fine: albeit a bit over elaborate with the lamb chops( too much sticky sauce). Lovely "lazy lobster." Free car parking.

The rooms were a bit dated. They really needed new locks on the doors. I think they should have put more beds in the rooms. I would have liked more modern board games to play while there. It was pretty expense for what you got at the inn.

It had a nice big backyard. I liked sitting in the pub and talking. Happy hour was good ! It was nice to get rollaway beds.

The continental breakfast was disappointing. We looked at it and then left. Haven’t eaten many times for dinner and when they had brunch, we were expecting much more.

The staff and owner are great. The rooms are comfortable and the inn is charming. The dinner meal was great as always.

There is a good bit of road noise, so you may want a sound machine or app.

The bed was very comfortable, and the inn is charming. It's a great location for day trips to Bangor. There was a lovely fireplace in our room, which would be terrific in the cooler months. To note: the dining room is closed on Mondays. Breakfast consisted of some danishes, microwaveable breakfast sandwiches, cereal, fruit, granola bars, juice, milk and coffee. Also it was not an issue for us, but there are no elevators so if you have mobility issues you may want to choose somewhere else.

The rooms weren’t as elegant as I had anticipated judging from the grand exterior, but the decor has an old world charm. It was delightful nonetheless

The room location was on the ground floor next to the door to to outdoor pool, so we could not leave the curtains open to admire the view without allowing other guests to be able to view inside our room.

Second time I’ve been to this location, but the first time I stayed overnight. The room was clean, comfortable and had a fireplace. The staff were friendly and efficient. I would stay here again.

The continental breakfast was disappointing. The room wasn’t as sound-proof as we would have liked. We could hear people in the hallway, and unfortunately the traffic on the street kept us up. There was a wedding (or two) during our stay, and the reception was audible into the night.

The setting is beautiful. Gorgeous views from our suite. Easy to get to. The room was clean, and the bed was heavenly. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi.

The handrails in the Overlook building need to be cleaned and sanitized, along with the stains on the carpet, it is such a beautiful place it should be shined up a bit.

I was shown a room with , for me dangerous stairs to and from ; but upon further inquiry was offered an excellent room on first floor and my daughter an adjacent room. I was just recovering from a hip fracture.

There was no breakfast. The web site said it was included. The location was very beautiful when we got to our final room, the first room looked out on a cluttered empty tented venue.

breakfast was awful. due to the fact that the place has its own restaurant, you’ll find just frozen semiproducts on breakfast.

the place was so beautiful and the location is perfect. for those who travels to Easternmost point of the US and Lubec.

The hot tub did not work. Very nice restaurant however due to being short staffed, we waited 1 1/2 hours to be served and the food was over cooked.
