We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaThe place is not the most attractive. But then again the cost reflects that. If all you need is a bed then it certainly fulfills the need.
First, the staff were all very polite and ready to help in any manner. Its location is the best part as it straddles Lansing and East Lansing. If you have anything to do with the University and you don't want to pay a premium then this will definitely work. The indoor pool was great. Having a place to get some easy exercise during the Winter is a real bonus.

United StatesI went to unplug the blow dryer and the whole outlet came out of the wall. Not very safe when I have my 7 year old staying in the room. Light bulbs were super dusty. The air didn’t work, only the heater and my room was super hot the whole weekend I stayed.

The first room we checked into all the lights worked fine. We went for dinner and returned about an 1 1/2hrs after checking in and none of the lights worked. Went to tell the front fest and the desk clerk said we should never had been checked into that room as they have been having problems with the electricity in that room and one other room. So we packed all of our things up and moved to another room which we felt like we were in a dungeon. The bathroom was filthy and the ceiling looked like it was going to cave in on us as it had huge spots that have water damage to it. The only good thing about staying there was their awesome pool.

QatarThe property is not well maintained. There is a strange smell in the pool, probably due the pool. Plaster coming off, worn out carpet. Not sure when were the bedsheets changed last time. No elevator. Small rooms. No closet… hangers had paint on them…

United StatesI purchased the room on booking.com. Originally I was supposed to check in on 8/02/23 and check out 2/03/23. However I had to change that. I called booking and they changed it to check in on 8/01/23 and checkout 8/02/23. When I arrived the clerk said they had no record of the change and they could not just switch me over to one day earlier and that I needed to pay for 8/01/23. I showed them the booking.com email confirming the change, however, clerk said they had no record. I had just driven 10 hours and was exhausted. I paid the hotel and said I would contact booking.com. I called booking.com later that night and they said I would get a refund from the hotel. I have not checked if I got refunded the money. I was not happy with this as I had an email that explained the change. Also the walls near my room were corroding and flakes were in the hallway.
I front desk person was very nice and answered all my questions. Breakfast was ok. Did not use pool.

United StatesI booked online and paid in advance, and was surprised upon arrival to find them demanding a $100 deposit that “will clear in 14 days.” I stayed on Mar 15 and it is now Apr 6, so just over three weeks. I have still not gotten my pending charge cleared. What a scam.
I popped in for a single night after seeing a play at the nearby Wharton Theatre. The staff was great and the room was fairly nice, if a bit dirty(stains on the walls and carpet) but for the price it’s alright. The pool and breakfast area were bigger and nicer than expected.

United StatesThe details could use some work: there was no cover for our sink drains. The shower handle made a 360" turn which made it hard to find the hot water and to shut it off. You have to get pool towels from the front desk. The hair dryer was hanging loosely from the wall. There is no elevator. You carry your luggage upstairs if you are on the 2nd floor. Pets are allowed. One night a woman was yelling and her dog was barking at an unwanted guest.
The breakfast was great. The attendant was very helpful. The pool was clean and we were the only ones using it! The staff was friendly, kind and efficient. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean enough. The hotel location is near to our familiy's home. There are 2 fast food restaurants across the street.

United StatesYour experience will be greatly impacted by the other guests there. The walls are paper thin. Depending on the room you get your window may just go into the hallway. The bathroom could use an update as the toilet is what you would find in a school.
The breakfast has lots of options. Room is spacious and every member of staff was both friendly and welcoming. The pool never seemed over crowded.
