The place also offers food but I found the menu prices rather expensive. This appears to be a general issue in Uruguay though

Even though I booked a shared room the host let me choose one of the single rooms as I was the only guest (off-season). The house is cute, they put up candles during the night but there are even a few LEDs in the rooms at night as the place has solar panels and a small wind turbine. I was lucky to be there during a star-bright night and observed the Milky Way from the roof terrace. The place is right next to the little supermarket and very close to the terminal.

The bed sheet could be a bit better, and the room is not so comfortable for tall people. There is no eletricity in the rooms, and phones must be charged in the living room. No wifi as well, and not card payemnt. But minor factors that doesn't change how good it was, and also work more as warning to those who go.

It is very central in the small village, and it has the rustic vibe that was expected. It had warm water, and the beds were comfortable. Overall it was clean, and the vibe of the hostel and the people there was amazing. Fireplace outside during the night, nice to share with the people there. Very central for Cabo Polonio's size. Really recommend.

The bedrooms are very small and without power point or any wifi. The Claro signal was only working when standing on the roof of the hostel. Service for drinks at the restaurant was particularly slow, even for a simple coffee or glass of wine.

Great lively hostel with live music, a restaurant, a bar. The menu was great, great variety. The location is good, on the main "road", very cool atmosphere at night.

Rooms in the upstairs don’t have stand up space. Can be easily assisted with by using a small stool to organize yourself in the room.

I’d say the only thing missing is a hammock on the deck ! Other than that, the kitchen is not so well equipped and is small but anyway, you’re not going to cook wild meals while you’re there.

It was so clean, super chill, the ocean view deck is amazing! The vibe at the fire at night is great. The staff is amazingly helpful.

The 4 bed dorm is small, but all you need. Spent all the time outside, walking on the beach, seeing the Faro, meeting people in the bar. Had a campfire every evening and livemusic. I just enjoyed the stay. This place is something special. The stuff is so friendly and we had so much fun! Crazy lady te amo ;)

Welcoming, nice and attentive staff; great atmosphere with daily shows at their restaurant. Little terrace at their (literally) rooftop where to unwind, drink coffe or do some yoga with sea views. Good vibes and wonderful people.
