The staff are so friendly including the GM and team leader always making sure guests are fine and enjoying there stay . Boma on the Saturday evening was just wonderful to sit infront of the fire and hear the staff singing and enjoying great food . Overall all experience was relaxing

The food provided was not up to standard at all Both breakfast and Dinner 👎👎👎 The chef told us there was no food in the fridge they had to prepare what was left same with lunch they had a selected few on the menu the rest it was out of stock Big up to the Barman Daniel, and the other catering staff members who went all out to prepare what my little one wanted to have for Dinner 🙈 overall great environment the management needs to work on their catering by making breakfast true “ buffet”

They offer breakfast and dinner but our first night we were right on time for dinner and when we got there we were told that there is no more food by one of the waiters with a bad attitude. Spoke to Karina, management, that we were hungry and we need food. After waiting for a while we were catered for. It seems like they don't cater according to the number that has booked. Rooms were also not ready when our first couple arrived at 2pm for check in. They had to wait for about 2hours.

Communication was great. Warm welcome by management. The place is nice and small, good for people who don't like overcrowding.

The activities that they have seem to need some serious maintenance. Their games area - pool table balls were missing. The table tennis paddles are broken, some glue would fix that or just buy new ones. You can go kayak in the very little dam, which is nice except the big boat is broken, the peddles don't work. You can only use the oars. Why are things there if they are broken? The bicycles are awful, they are tubeless but not solid wheels, so essentially you are riding a bicycle with the flattest wheels, on sand. My suggestion is to get tubeless wheels that are completely solid wheels. And possibly new bicycles as well.

The room was amazing and the views were amazing. They have kudu that roam around and you can feed them. They have nice walking trails, if you lucky you'll spot more kudu and giraffes. This was all we saw on our walk. The breakfasts were delicious. The dinners were good but sometimes could be a bit better in terms of flavour. Daniel was incredible! He is so friendly and helpful! All the staff are friendly!

The pillows in the main bedroom were very flat our our fridge looked old.

Only one thing I didn't like was the mouldy bread we got at breakfast on the last day:-(. That honestly disappointed me. But I alerted one of the staff members(Daniel) just as we were about to check out. He promised to attend to the matter.

Everyone at Ditholo is very warm and welcoming! A beautiful place to stay at if you're looking to take time out from the city noise, be one in nature and still keep the kids entertained. There are lots of activities to do at Ditholo, there really isn't a need to leave and go elsewhere.

WeekendI was fairly pleased with the whole establishment. Just wish the bottled water would be refilled daily not only on arrival day. As an avid water drinker having to buy water for the whole weekend is not ideal

The property provides bikes for you to explore the property on. This was very enticing for us, even though we are not cyclists. However, the bikes are old and are difficult to adjust and ride. We'd have loved to cycle around longer, but the lack of comfort of the bikes made us head back prematurely.

The place was lovely and quiet. My husband and I were there on our "minimoon." It was a great place to rest and recharge. The food was amazing, different options for dinner every night and always well prepared (great portion sizes too). Daniel, the barman, was always friendly and observant - after a week he could tell us what we would be ordering ;)

Give the guest a choice for game or other meat. Hence, they made a plan but would prefer if they have other meat then game as a choice. The food was otherwise nice. The hot water for the 2 chalet was also not enough.

Breakfast was not nice, needs improvement. We could not do a game drive, due to some internal reasons that was not communicared prior, 😔. Didn't see animals as stated on the website. Lots of restrictions as to where you can go in the lodge, couldnt explore the lodge well. The deck was dusty, there are alot of weeds on fountain that needs to be attended to. WiFi connection is poor.

The room was clean, bed was comfortable. It's a small lodge, cousy. Enjoyed dinner, chef did well. There is a generator, loadsheeping didn't affect us. The staff was nice, assisted with directions and they are always available to help

- Rondavels need maintenance - Game drive vehicle is old and took some time to start for the game drive - Not enough crockery in the kitchenette

- Breakfast and Dinner was very good - this is a must when staying there. Lunch is available at a reasonable price. - Staff are very friendly and helpful. - Location is quiet and relaxing. - Staff come in twice a day to clean and tidy up. - Loved the activities - bicycles, game drive, canoes etc - Loved the animals walking around the property.

The tap water was not tasting good and no free water was provided and water was to expensive to buy R18 for 500g. Water is life, no water no happiness to us. I drink 1lt a day that is 18x2=R36x14days=R504x2 with my husband R1,008 please check the water issue
