the location and the view perfect from the seafront flat. what a potty that I believe it will be demolished and a routine hotel build up, which will never have the same feel to it

dirty - had I known the building was going to be torn down I may have been curious as to how it was being run in its final days . Stay was for a very special birthday celebration and do wish I’d chosen elsewhere - Lift didn’t work - stairs were unswept - hallways were dirty - bathroom had an awful smell… No care seems to have been taken in a while … rug in one room was very unsafe in that it was old with no backing - no hairdryer or anything special about the rooms .

*Property needs some serious renovation. Everything looks very old. I had issues with closing the window in the bathroom, soo old, thought it would fall apart. *No lift, you have to carry your luggage in hand. *Property doesn't have a generator, so when power is going down, there is no power for 2h twice a day. *Bird poop all over the skylight.when booking this room, I thought it would be nice to have a lovely sky view. What a disappointment it was ..... *Dry chicken bones were found on the balcony table when we got to the room. *Very small shallow swimming pool, more like for kids than adults . *We had a problem with drain in the bath. It was taking a good while before all water went down and toilet had a pipe leaking.

*Service - room was clean and tidy every day. *Great location with many restaurants around *Good sized room *Safe available *Property has parking spaces available

Older well worn building. No elevator, lots of stairs. As anywhere in S Africa know when its load sharing and no electricity.

Great location on the beach. Staff very friendly. Good safe parking. Easy access to drive into Cape Town or take hop on hop off tour bus. Nice restaurants around.

no generator when the power cut happened, I was half way through getting ready and the power went out!! the hotel could let the guests know when the power cuts were scheduled each day.

I think the place can be upgraded for the price. It's comfortable but old... It's a nuisance going in and out of the property without having an access key. U have to buzz every time u want to get in and out. And the lift doesn't work.

Lights not working in bedroom by the bedside. The place has a damp smell and the damp in the kids room was visible on the wall above bed. the carpet definitely needs to be changed to tiles as they collect alot of dust and one can smell the dust in it. With the load shedding situation it would be great if there was an emergency light as well a gas stove to at least boil water for tea or coffee

We have stayed here before and loved the location. Very spacious and comfortable. Easy access to beach and restaurants. We felt very safe. Ample cupboard space and good size bathrooms.

although it is beautifully presented the property is a little tired. the lift didn’t work so to get to the penthouse we had to walk up 3 flights of stairs. This would not be appropriate for frail couples.

The location was perfect and the penthouse was extremely spacious for two couples to share.

we had some noise from the water tank / boiler but it wasn’t too bad at all. No back up generator for load shedding for general lighting for stairways etc

The rooms are a bit dated and the images shown don't match the rooms selected which was a bit disappointing. Some of the stairs were very slippery as some of the anti slip tape was missing.

The location of the accommodation is magnificent right on camps bay beach.

Wonderful spot with a tiny balcony with amazing views. Basic, but everything present that is needed. Helpful staff.
