Perfectly situated in centre of town close to restaurants, function venues and shops. Beautifully decorated rooms designed with such creative style and so much attention to detail. Brought me back to my childhood with all the antique trinkets in the main house owned by Reinette as well as in the guest rooms

Beautifully decorated with such intricate detail. Reinette has expressed her creativity by designing and decorating the rooms with such care & consideration for her guests. They are very cosy and comfortable. Lovely antiques displayed everywhere which took me back to my childhood days - always something to admire and enjoy!

The venue is just spectacular, the owner is so attentive to her guests and full of wonderful local knowledge. The rooms are so spacious, comfortable have everything that is needed and the attention to detail in the decor is an adventure and discovery of its own!! The breakfast served was magnificent. I'd highly recommend to everybody whether for business or leisure stay.

My stay at Somerset Stables, in Graaf-Reinet, was truly delightful! Reinette, an exceptional host, a kind, helpful, and charming lady who went out of her way to make my brief visit memorable. She warmly welcomed me and provided invaluable insights into the local culture and Karoo Nature. Reinette’s extensive knowledge made exploring GR and Karoo National Park relaxing breezes. Reinette’s engaging conversations and genuine hospitality made my five days stay truly pleasantly.

Comfort , Safety , Location … you can’t go wrong. They have ample off street secure parking which sets them apart from most other accommodation in Graaf Reinett. The owner Reinette is an incredible woman whom goes out of her way to assist in any way possible. She even arranged my dinner reservation at Hello You restaurant, which she recommended and it was exceptional. The room had everything I needed , ample space and the bed was extremely comfortable. I can highly recommend staying here , I’ve already booked my next stay.

Friendly and very helpful owner who booked our spot for supper as we were there on a busy weekend and advised us on where to go and what to see. Sundowners up the Valley of Desolation was spectacular!! Will need extra time in Graaf Reinette to explore next time!

The location is fantastic! The rooms are well decorated and spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed and all the facilities you could need for a short stay. Wifi worked well. The garden outside is beautiful.

The bathroom is open (no ceiling) and located exactly next to the bed, which doesn’t give you lots of intimacy when going to the toilets
