We had a small bedroom apartment with a very complete kitchen, bathroom and small balcony. We were impressed with the kitchen as it had everything my husband needed to cook and keep leftovers in! The staff was very helpful and were able to provide laundry service (for a price) as we stayed 12 days! The grocery store is literally 60 steps away and Kleines Biergarten which had craft beer and excellent food was even closer! There were no noise problems even with the trains constantly going by. The train station is a 10 minute walk away. We highly recommend this property for a short or even a long stay!

Checked in, the lady was lovely spoke as gooder English as us, room was fairly big, twin beds, a lovely alcove with a table, little balcony, very clean, breakfast was brilliant, even had Yorkshire Tea, very good selection of food, very clean again, had a couple of nice chats with the owner, swimming pool was brill and open 24 hours which suited us, the only comment I would make was the steps to I to the pool were ok getting in, but getting out we struggled as they didn't go down far enough and my daughter couldn't grip the handles could do with some rubber on it, still a very nice stay, very handy for cruise down the Rhine and parking was good, unfortunately could use the restaurant as it was shut due to the fact that no-one was probably going to be in the town due to the Rhine in Flames at St Goar, which we ended up.going to, thanks to the owner telling us about it

no heads up on the river issue no way to get to the other side from barach after 9 pm on a Sunday no taxis bridges buses we ended up sleeping on park benches in the rain till morning to catch the train to get to the other side where hotel is😞Booking.com says hotel near barach. very misleading.

The owners and staff were very welcoming. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The beer garden was a lovely place for an evening meal. The food was excellent.
