Location is wonderful with views of the lake and also close proximity to the Hall where I attended a wedding. The community shop is also close. The room is lovely -- patio doors which fully open, a lovely terrace with shade, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, excellent bathroom, speedy internet, fridge stocked with milk along with cereals, tea and coffee. It really was perfect.

Staff were excellent, and nothing was too much trouble. Meals were good. I even had a No Gluten menu for myself. Off-street parking, which is hard to find

We have stayed at Greyfriars many times over the years and it is always excellent.Therefore it was an easy choice for my extended family and I to have our late mother's wake in one of the function rooms and to book several rooms for family members to stay over.Hannah was brilliant in organising the rooms and also the room to hold the wake.Catering was excellent and we had great service from Blake who looked after us with drinks from the bar. Also a special mention to the reception staff who are always friendly and helpful and also the staff at breakfast ( sorry I didn't catch their names)
