It is so beautiful. If you really want to experience authentic japanese living, i really would recommend this place. From the japanese room with the view of garden and the mountain to the authentic “oishi” japanese kaiseki dinner and delicious breakfast. All ingredients are fresh and delicious. The place in near the station and shops and the lake are walkable. The experience of using the private onsen outside with garden view is best.

The staff who came out to meet us and carried our luggage as soon as we parked in the parking lot, and those who helped with our luggage when we left and saw us off until we left the parking lot, were all very kind. The room was spotless and nice. The private open-air bath attached to my room provided a fantastic solo hot spring experience, and the quality of the spring water was so good that it made my skin silky smooth. The kaiseki dinner was immaculately crafted and absolutely gorgeous, as was the breakfast served! The staff were so polite, and we felt very welcomed for the entirety of our stay! Would definitely recommend this to anyone staying in the area!

Located in isolated Yunohira station, this ryokan gave us feeling of solitude and privacy. When we first entered, we felt like we were in some Ghibli’s movies. The owners took care of us very well with heart warming accommodation. The ryokan has 4 hot springs which are well maintained. We spent a great long time in the hot springs during the snow and it was the best experience ever. Moreover, the food they served us here were plenty and super delicious.
