We’d booked 2 nights here but didn’t make the first one due to a flight cancellation. However, this hotel reimbursed us for the missed night without being asked. We were super grateful for this and wish we could have experienced more of the super facilities.

Great location. The building is modern and aesthetic. Being a monastery, there's a beautiful curated exhibition about it's history. The breakfast was amazing as well. The rooms were comfortable, and the bathrooms, although shared, were large and spotless. As a solo female traveller, it was very safe and comfortable

When we arrived the owner was a little flustered as the previous visitor left quite a mess. She was so apologetic that the room was not ready on time. After a short tome she showed us our room and could not be more satisfied. A beautiful room. The owner could not be more hospitable ensuring our say was satisfactory.

Great place next to the road and to the water and the wood. We had a good time and regretted that we only booked one night. Obviously you cannot expect your own bathroom but it was all clean and well maintained and it was great to sleep in a wooden cabin and to get to know other travelers and the owner and sit on the fireplace at night. We highly recommend this place! Thank you Michel!
