Hotel Belvedere Locarno, a superior 4-star hotel, is open year-round and offers 90 rooms and suites with beautiful views of Lake Maggiore, the city and the mountains. Beautiful property and spacious room with luxe feeling. Room had a fantastic view and of course the pool area was just fabulous. We travelled with our baby and the touches for him were so cute and appreciated - they even had a baby bath there we could use !! Everything was top notch and we only had room service dinner but it was great, however the restaurant looked incredible for dinner.

And they’re right The hotel is right in the city center, everything is within walking distance (this includes the historical city center, the lake, the Cathedral, the funiculars of both Monte Bre and San Salvatore, train and bus station). The staff is probably the best I’ve ever seen, and I travel for business all the time. They’re genuinely kind people who will do everything to help make your stay the best it can be. the breakfast and the restaurant in general is 10 out of 10 Michelin guide recommended - the selection is just everything you can ever wish for. The room was clean, comfortable, regularly maintained. Pick Luganodante, you won’t be disappointed.

Location was removed and quiet in the lovely small village of Bre'. Sara and Jackie were wonderful in providing service and being so very friendly. Access to Lugano by the funicular or bus was easy. The Bre' art community is represented throughout the village and is charming. There is an excellent restaurant, Grotto, and another opening at the B&B building operated by members of the Grotto family. Loved this accommodation.

Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Boutique Hotel Albergo Brione offers accommodation in Brione sopra Minusio, a 15-minute drive from Locarno´s city centre and 23 km from Lugano. Continental breakfast only but this was well presented fresh and plenty of choice. Large room, with unique design but very functional and modern. Very quiet and peaceful.

Offering an outdoor pool and sun terrace, Art Hotel Riposo is set in Ascona in the Canton of Ticino Region. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Every room includes a TV. Very good breakfast. Nice pool area.
