The room was charming and thoughtfully decorated. I enjoyed the individual design touches and the four-poster bed was extremely comfortable - I enjoyed an excellent night's sleep throughout my stay. It was particularly pleasant to look out from the balcony over the garden area in the morning and evening and listen to the gentle sound of the fountain.

Das Adlon ist die Quintessenz luxuriöser Unterkünfte und ein legendäres 5-Sterne Hotel in Berlin-Mitte, neben dem Brandenburger Tor. The hotel has the old world charm of a classic building with modern amenities. It occupies a prestigious location overlooking the Brandenburg Gate and close to many shopping areas and restaurants. At check-in I asked to be upgraded to a deluxe room, which was luckily available over looking one of the inner courtyards. The room is spacious and has all the modern amenities but the decor is a bit dated and can benefit from an update. The bed and pillows are comfortable and the bathroom is spacious but the flow is a bit weird. The room came with breakfast which was served in the first floor with seating arrangements in multiple locations some overlooking gardens and others overlooking the Brandenburg Gate. The food quality is good and the service level was excellent. Of particular note is Ibrahim and Phillip who went out of their way to make our breakfast experience, but one has to ask and sometimes insist on sitting on a particular as the host sometimes appear to want to sit you in any table and claim that the other is occupied. Always ask a waiter and most probably they will accommodate your request. Part of the breakfast rooms double as the two Michelin star restaurant, Lorenz Adlon Esszimmer ,a very nice dining experience indeed. Also there is the Brasserie Quarré, which also served superb dishes. On days where the weather is good they have a beautiful outdoor seating area. The concierge was very helpful in booking us a very nice family owned Italian restaurant ( Il Punto) with in walking distance from the hotel. Generally speaking almost all the hotel staff that I interacted with were extremely welcoming and helpful.

Sehr nette Mitarbeiter, am Empfang, im Service...unkompliziert, fröhlich und hilfsbereit! Mega!! Ganz tolles Hotel, altes, sehr schönes Haus, liebevoll eingerichtet, RetroRetro! Hat mir unheimlich gut gefallen. Sehr gemütlich alles, überall Teppich. Warm. Und unser Hund durfte auch mit. Das Frühstücksangebot war sehr gut, sehr lecker, alles da, ganz toller, wunderschöner Raum zum Essen. Ich fand es sehr besonders...in allem.
