Hotel Hôtel Barnea is located in the centre of Biarritz, just a 3-minute walk from the beach, shops and restaurants. Each soundproofed room has a private bathroom, TV and free Wi-Fi internet access. Super cosy, atmospheric place. Small, freshly renovated, with big windows and a very comfortable bed. I assume the more expensive rooms have a partial sea view — ours didn’t; however, we were on the 3rd floor (just keep in mind there’s no elevator) and we enjoyed a great view of the town.

We enjoyed the petit dejeneur, parking in the premises and the quiet atmosphere. It felt like home.

Located in Guéthary, on the Basque Coast, Hôtel Briketenia is 38 km from San Sebastián and 12 km from Biarrit. It offers a gastronomic restaurant and free WiFi access. The room was fantastic, complete with a nice size baalcony and also an indoor sitting area. We also had the breakfast which was delicious. I would have liked a few gluten free options as part of their bread and pastry assortment, but other than that it was very nice.
