The bakery is wonderful for all your breakfast or afternoon needs to enjoy either inside or in the sunny promenade. Highly recommend the restaurant, service, food fabulous and make sure to have fruit gin and tonic. Comfortable beds, washing machines on site and a big deep bath for soaking after a day or twos bike riding. All staff amazing from the people at the front reception desk to the staff in the restaurant. Don’t miss this town and place on your next trip to Japan.

Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). - Service was extremely friendly and welcoming. Had a fun time exchanging travel sketchbooks with the receptionist and also getting to know Miku, the owner Juniya's cat (The name of the ryokan is a portmanteau of both of their names!). - Room is large and comfortable - Food was simple but delicious - Overall, the ryokan was clean and extremely relaxing to stay in

Only a 5-minute drive from Miyajima Ferry Port with its free shuttle, beautiful ocean views can be enjoyed from Miyajima Seaside Hotel. Everything. The style of the hotel was awesome. The staff went above and beyond for us as a small family. The food was delicious.

The rooms were done in traditional Japanese style with futons and tatami mats, which felt authentic. The shared shower and cleaning faciltiies looked fine, even though we didn't use them. The cafe was really nice and the staff there were attentive and gave a thorough overview on arrival.

Located right in front of Miyajima Aquarium and a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine's exit, Mizuhasou offers accommodations in a modern yet traditional décor. Everything was fantastic - the rooms came with Yukatas, pajamas, vests, tea, water, a towel bag and one face wash set. The breakfast in the morning was unbelievable - that alone made the price well worth it, but add in the baths and lovely rooms & decor - just an unbelievable stay.

Located in the World Heritage Miyajima Island, Iwaso features Japanese-style accommodations with beautiful surrounding views. Everything was perfect during our stay. The staff’s attention was outstanding: always kind, professional, and helpful. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and everything was very well organized. Schedules and services were always punctual and reliable, which made the experience even more comfortable. We truly felt well taken care of and would definitely stay here again.

ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA is located in Miyajima’s Omotesando Avenue, a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Miyajima Pier. Beautiful property, excellent staff AND amazing dinner. Just incredible.
