Free Wi-Fi is available at the entire property and guests can refresh in the public bath. Shijo and Karasuma Station are both within a 10-minute walk away. The room was spatious enough to accomodate both of us and two big luggage bags as well. Water was provided every day, room was clean, everything worked and the atmosphere was very silent and relaxing. The lobby is beautiful, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly both at check in and at check out. The onsen was a huge bonus and very pleasant to soak in. Really liked the fact that you could check how busy it was from the TV in the room. Being able to do laundry as well as checking the status from the TV in the room was also a nice feature.

Guests can enjoy traditional multi-course meals featuring local Kyoto ingredients. Staff was amazing so so helpful, we enjoyed every moment. The room was traditional and was really great staying there. Onsen is also a wonderful experience. Look out for this place, they will treat you like a Kyoto Lord!!
