Although our room didn't have much of an outside-view, the room itself is really cozy and lovely! Furthermore, the hotel itself is located right next to the train station, and that's really convenient!

This guesthouse is located along one of the Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Routes and Yunomine Hot Spring, said to be one of the oldest hot springs baths in Japan, is a 5-minute walk from the property. The hostel was fantastic. We rented a tatami room, which was spotless, very comfortable and with a really nice view. The onsen was amazing, we absolutely loved it. Everything was clean, there were snacks, eggs to boil in the onsens in town and all cooking and serving tools to eat them afterwards. The bathrooms were incredibly clean. This was our favourite stay along the Kumano Kodo, despite being the cheapest.

The Nara Visitor Center and Inn is situated in the heart of Nara, just a 3-minute walk from Kofuku-ji Temple and Naramachi. The Todai-ji Temple and Deer Park are a 10-minute stroll away, while Nara Station on the Kintetsu Line is a 7-minute walk. JR Nara Station is 14-minutes away on foot. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. The location was perfect, right in Nara park. Facilities were perfect. The onsen was also great, I have tatoos and didn't have any problems

Kyoto Ekimae Daiwa Roynet is a 15-minute walk from Toji Temple and a 20-minute train ride from Fushimi Inari Shrine. Kansai International Airport can be reached with a 105-minute bus ride from the property. Nishi and Higashi Hongan-ji temples are respectively a 15 and 10-minute stroll from the hotel. The hotel is very conveniently located about 3-4 minutes from the Kyoto station and there is an underpass straight to the hotel. I cannot stress how great this was in hot weather. The location is surrounded by easy transportation and decent restaurants. It's not as close to the primary night life neighborhoods but makes up for it by providing easy access. The room wasn't very big but every single detail was thought of. The bathroom was one of the best I've ever seen with the shower and tub separated from the toilet by a glass door that keeps the moisture away, this was a huge difference maker. The room was very clean and the amenities were much better than what I've experienced in most 5-star hotels. I would definitely stay here again.

The rooms were very clean, spacious, and well maintaned. The staff was polite and were able to speak English fluently. The recommendations for local sento/onsen were great. Free Wi-Fi is available at the entire property and guests can refresh in the public bath. Shijo and Karasuma Station are both within a 10-minute walk away. The room was spatious enough to accomodate both of us and two big luggage bags as well. Water was provided every day, room was clean, everything worked and the atmosphere was very silent and relaxing. The lobby is beautiful, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly both at check in and at check out. The onsen was a huge bonus and very pleasant to soak in. Really liked the fact that you could check how busy it was from the TV in the room. Being able to do laundry as well as checking the status from the TV in the room was also a nice feature.

Guests can enjoy traditional multi-course meals featuring local Kyoto ingredients. Exceptional interior of the room — everything was super authentic and traditional. The good location and polite people are great as well. The onsen is recommended if you stay here!
