Although our room didn't have much of an outside-view, the room itself is really cozy and lovely! Furthermore, the hotel itself is located right next to the train station, and that's really convenient!

Situated a 10-minute walk from lively Kawaramachi area, Kyomachiya Ryokan Sakura Urushitei offers Japanese-style accommodation with modern facilities and traditional design. It provides a tour desk and a bar on the ground floor. Free WiFi is available in all areas.

Fitted with a relaxing ambience, all rooms come with air conditioning, a fridge and an electric kettle. The private bathroom has a hairdryer and free toiletries. We managed to book there only one night, and other nights in a place closer to the historical part. We wish we could stay at this ryokan longer. Authentic experience and everything our though-out carefully.

Opening in March 2014, Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Shinmachi Bettei offers accommodations with a modern yet traditional décor. Free Wi-Fi is available at the entire property and guests can refresh in the public bath. Shijo and Karasuma Station are both within a 10-minute walk away. The room was spatious enough to accomodate both of us and two big luggage bags as well. Water was provided every day, room was clean, everything worked and the atmosphere was very silent and relaxing. The lobby is beautiful, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly both at check in and at check out. The onsen was a huge bonus and very pleasant to soak in. Really liked the fact that you could check how busy it was from the TV in the room. Being able to do laundry as well as checking the status from the TV in the room was also a nice feature.

Offering free Wi-Fi and a spacious public bath, Ryokan Ryokufuso is located a 15-minute walk away from JR Kyoto Train Station. Guests can enjoy traditional multi-course meals featuring local Kyoto ingredients. Staff was amazing so so helpful, we enjoyed every moment. The room was traditional and was really great staying there. Onsen is also a wonderful experience. Look out for this place, they will treat you like a Kyoto Lord!!

The en suite bathroom is fitted with a bathtub and free toiletries. Amazing hotel with very efficient staff. We were upgraded at check in and had a beautiful view from our room. The location of the property is a little away from the train station but that’s a plus. The area overlooks a beautiful park and river view. The Osaka castle is walking distance and we loved the late night walk to the castle which is amazing! Would give Imperial 10/10 for that!
