The hotel is really well located since its just in front of the JR strain station and at the beginning of the commercial street to end up 10 minutes after to Nara deer park. The all tatami style of the hotel gives a traditional vibes to the place, I wish I stayed longer to enjoy the onsen but I only stayed one night which was short to enjoy all the hotel has to offer. The buffet Japanese style breakfast is a most do in this place. Staff are really nice and helpful, there is at least 5 or 6 people at the front desk, so waiting time is just few seconds before you can check in.

All rooms feature a Plasmacluster ion air purifier/humidifier. I love the calm and Zen vibe as soon as I stepped into Waqoo! The staff were friendly and helpful. There is always someone at the lobby to help with everything, answering queries, even helping to press the button for the lift or escorting me to the breakfast area. There is personal attention given. My room was great, love the clean and tidy feel. Well thought out facilities and amenities. Love the book of Teachings of Buddha provided in the room. I tried the black silica stone for my hot bath - wow amazing! The bed was super comfy and I slept so well (best for this trip!). The shampoo and body cleanser provided smelt so good. Love the robe and Japanese outfit provided too. A lovely and perfect stay! Thank you Waqoo!

The hotel was a bit far from Gion and Kyoto station, but it is in a very peaceful area close to a small stream. I opted for the Japanese breakfast, which was delivered to my room by a friendly member of staff. The food itself was delicious. I also enjoyed using the cyprus bathtub that came with my room. It was the perfect way to relax after a long day of walking around Kyoto. The location is quiet and beautiful; perfect for someone looking for relaxation and taking in the sights of Kyoto. I would definitely recommend this establishment and I hope to visit again soon!

The Nara Visitor Center and Inn is situated in the heart of Nara, just a 3-minute walk from Kofuku-ji Temple and Naramachi. The Todai-ji Temple and Deer Park are a 10-minute stroll away, while Nara Station on the Kintetsu Line is a 7-minute walk. JR Nara Station is 14-minutes away on foot. Great and strategic location. My family and I are very happy stay in here.
