The staff was really nice and helpful, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. We also really enjoyed the breakfast: very tasty and super filling. Bonus point for the beautiful wooden bathtub, the nice yukata (I ended up buying it) and the very nice attention on my birthday! It was much appreciated! If I ever go back to Kyoto (and I hope I will), I'll definitely stay at this hotel again. In the meantime, I'll recommend it to everyone I know.
