Nara
Featuring natural hot spring baths on site, Onyado Nono Nara Natural Hot Spring is set in Nara, just a 3-minute walk from JR Nara Station. Free WiFi is available throughout the property, and private parking is available on site. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Kofuku-ji Temple is 15 minutes on foot. The best hotel I have ever been to in Japan! Staffs are great, super polite, and helpful. Excellent amenities everywhere are super clean, silent, and comfy. The breakfast is delicious; it is a buffet, but the quality and freshness exceed the expectation, better than many other a la carte. They also gave treats on Valentine's Day free ramen for dinner. The onsen is gorgeous! It has an outdoor onsen, too. The room is quite big for a Japanese standard. This hotel is so good and so fair price that I changed my plans just to extend my stay one more day there.

Gion, Kyoto
The property boasts a public bath where guests can relax after their excursions for free. All guest rooms are equipped with a clothes rack and a hairdryer. Toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, slippers and toothbrushes are provided in guest rooms. I absolutely loved my stay. The hotel is very well located and the check-in process was smooth and easy. The room isn’t huge, but it’s beautifully decorated, well equipped, and feels incredibly comfortable. I especially loved the view from the room overlooking a small garden, it creates a calm, relaxing atmosphere that really enhances the experience. The lounge is also very pleasant, especially with the happy hour. And the onsen available to guests is a huge plus , a perfect way to unwind after exploring Kyoto. Honestly, no cons to mention. The hotel feels brand new and offers excellent comfort and service. Highly recommended.

The location is great, being in front of a small creek that has cherry trees that are fully blossomed, making it a perfect location for Sakura viewing without crowds. It's also 10 minutes by foot from Kyoto Station, and many of the bus lines that go to the most popular attractions.

Free Wi-Fi is available at the entire property and guests can refresh in the public bath. Shijo and Karasuma Station are both within a 10-minute walk away. We had SUCH a great stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel. The location was wonderful, we were in a trendy area with lots of great shops and so many restaurants, yet it was quiet and chill. There are also some nice museums in the area. The room itself was perfect, a big room, comfortable beds, clean. We also took advantage of the wash machine, although it was popular with other guests, it helped us get our clothes clean mid-trip. The staff is super friendly as well.

It was new property so quite modern. I liked the separate shower and toilet. The shower was not over a bathtub so excellent. The lounge at the lobby was a great touch with free coffee. Was a lovely place to relax. Location was excellent, close to the train station and restaurants and department stores.
Lovely apartment, wide and clean, with a cozy upper area with a kitchen a living room you can use to work or relax. Ideal for a big group or a family.
The place was perfect, we wanted the experience of a capsule hotel, but wanted to sleep in a double bed. The pocket hotel brings aspects of a capsule hotel (free to use pyjamas, slippers, toiletries etc) but also has the luxury of your own room. The shared bathrooms were lovely, with entire shower areas instead of just stalls, hairdryers, nice shampoo/body wash, q-tips and more. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. It has a main subway right outside the front entrance.
The whole house was lovely, relaxed and comfortable, with all we needed. The bathroom was an incredible relaxing space and loved the peaceful garden views
Amazing place. The workers here are so lovely and friendly and made me and my boyfriend feel super accommodated. We really looked forward to coming back to our lovely room every evening. The facilities are fantastic plus all the added touches like a hand written note on the table on our arrival. Could not recommend enough.
Great location - few minutes walk from Kyoto station. Decent sized room. Good facilities (free use of washer/dryer) Lovely helpful staff. Great breakfast selection. Free tea/coffee facilities in reception at anytime of the day. Free drink at the bar each evening. Nice relaxed/chilled environment
Staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, they spoke excellent English. Room was clean and spacious, very zen! The wood bath - WOW! Overall, a lovely place for us to relax during our honeymoon. Location wise, it was super convenient as it was basically a 1 minute walk to the train station, which took us to Nishiki Market within 10 minutes.
We booked the suite and I'm telling you it really was worth the money! :) We visited a more modest onsen earlier and this was like a luxury version of it. We were truly relaxed after our stay. I've never seen a hotel room so beautiful and never had a dinner like that before! Breakfast was luxurious too, japanese style. We reserved a private onsen on check-in and it was so lovely also.
We stayed for a few days during our honeymoon and had the most lovely experience! The staff was amazing and even left us surprises and a note in our room for our honeymoon. The stay was exactly what we were looking for - a comfortable, relaxing and authentic feeling experience. We highly recommend!
