The staff are beyond amazing and the room was just fantastic! 10/10!

Very good hotel in a strange location, in the middle of an industrial estate. There is a train service but it is about a 30 mins walk there. Some really good facilities, breakfasts were really good mainly Japanese, remember to have bare feet.

The room was not at the level of luxury and service I was expecting for the price. The room was exceptionally clean, and tiddy. I really like that it was literally on the same building as the Sendai station. The Japanese breakfast was amazing.

Featuring free property-wide WiFi and a spa centre, Matsushima Ichinobo offers accommodation in Matsushima. The ryokan has a hot spring bath and sauna, and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar. Facilities and amenities were excellent.

The best thing is the view over Sendai, as the Westin is one of the highest buildings in the city. The staff was always very friendly and tried to satisfy all our wishes. Breakfast is magnificent, you have so much choice for the price. We speak a little Japanese but compared to other places in the area, the staff was very competent communicating in English. We will stay here again if we come back to Sendai.
