This eco-friendly hotel, about 400 metres from Västervik Central Station, is located on the waterfront. We really found the staff to be exceptionally friendly and helpful and most especially Isabella and Helena. They were both wonderful and made our stay even better.

Situated among 18th and 19th century villas in a park setting, this charming hotel is 3 minutes’ walk from Kalmar Castle. Free WiFi is available. Quiet park setting close to Kalmar castle. Excellent breakfast and dining facilities. The outdoor bar and courtyard looked appealing.

Housed in an old harbour warehouse, the Home Hotel Packhuset boasts spectacular views of the Kalmar Sound and the Öland Bridge. Some rooms feature exposed wooden beams, timber walls and free WiFi. Our stay included a buffet dinner, which was surprisingly good. Breakfast was good too. Convenient location to see the castle, cathedral, and old town. Room was nice. Elevator was helpful.
