I loved everything about the place, the service was superb and the room itself was extremely clean, with comfortable beds. The owner even went the extra mile by bringing us menu for a nearby restaurant, where we ordered food for delivery.

The farm is immaculate and the manicured rolling lawns and exquisite gardens are very well kept. The bed is really comfortable and there is a fan for hotter nights, and a wood stove fireplace for those cosy cooler evenings. There is a braai facility and a private garden for each unit, which is such a nice touch, and the cottages are cleaned daily. Located a 14-minute drive from Clarens, Kiara Lodge is set amongst the Maluti Mountains and offers a heated indoor pool, a spa and wellness centre and a children’s playground. I loved the cleanliness of the facility and it is equipped with everything. The staff is friendly and helpful, I would highly recommend it to the families
