The privacy is amazing, it is absolutely gorgeous. The water access is perfect and if I had realized how close it really is to the water I definitely would have brought my SUP. A full kitchen is very convenient and the porch is beautiful.

The people that ran the hotel were all so welcoming and kind throughout our stay. No TV in the room, very nice gathering area/library on the main floor, and very very excellent restaurant on the premises. The view from our room was perfect. The hotel warned us (via printed materials) of possible noise from the very nearby ferry, but that was not an issue during our 2-night stay. There is also an excellent cafe on the premises, which provides great coffee without Starbucks' pretension and breakfast and lunch stuff available.

What an incredible, gem of a hotel. Great location across the street from the ferry terminal, delicious food and wine in the cafe, and wonderful staff. The room was comfortable and had lovely touches (lavender bouquets and a pitcher of lemon water waiting for us on arrival.) I can’t wait to go back!

My mother, husband, and I loved our room, the little cafe's outdoor area, and the cozy little sitting room downstairs. The staff was SO friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious! Could not recommend this spot more if you're visiting Orcas Island. We brought a car on the ferry with us (yay for parking on site), but if you don't have one - you can't beat the close proximity to the ferry.RachelFamily with young children

We sat there for hours enjoying the view. Our biggest surprise was that we were given a free drink (beer and wine) as a welcome gift. In our room there was a bowl of delicious trail mix and lovely incense. We felt very welcome and special.

We arrived late and hungry right at the time when all food places on the island were closing. They went an extra mile for us, and asked the chef to make dinner for us, and delivered it into our room.

We felt so welcome, as if we were guests in their home. The location is convenient and the views are beautiful. The cafe served great breakfast sandwiches and we had an exquisite dinner in the Whiskey room. Amazing! Added bonus, we had our dogs during the stay! We will definitely be back!
