Traditional ryokan with amazing views and super nice staff. Wonderful service! Perfect location - not directly next to the ferry pier, however, the ryokan’s shuttle is super convenient. We rented a bike from the ryokan to go explore early in the morning and it was the best thing we could have done! Highly recommended!!

Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. Welcoming staff. Amazing location. Nice room.

We loved the possibility to go out in our yukatas, there were outdoor traditional shoes provided and special socks in the room. The dinner felt like Michelin star restaurant and staff prepared our futons while we were eating. The view from the rooftop was the best and free snacks and drinks were provided. Ryokan hot bath is also very well maintained. Personnel was increadibly nice and helpful all the time. I would totally come back again!

We feel like we got the best room in the entire place—it even had a small bar area and a cozy enclosed outdoor space. There were complimentary sweets and two types of tea (green and hojicha), both of which were absolutely delicious. The main tatami room with futons was spacious, and the futons themselves were incredibly comfortable to sleep on. The bathroom featured a large hinoki bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak. Breakfast was outstanding—probably the best we've had in Japan so far. For context, this is our third visit to Japan, and during this trip alone, we’ve stayed in five different hotels. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service. When we needed to buy some medicine and found the local pharmacy already closed, the staff went above and beyond to help us. There’s a remarkable small-town warmth among the owners and staff—an atmosphere of mutual support that felt truly special.

Old traditional Inn with a beautiful garden in the courtyard and views of the waterfront. Lots of common areas space. Our room had a garden view, was spacious, futons and pillows very comfortable. There is a good size fridge, a toilet, and a convenient sink for wash up and set all toiletries. Everything works well, wifi etc…onsen was very nice as well. The whole place is very clean and quiet, Breakfast and dinner are served in a room and you can enjoy the view of the garden if you leave the doors open, the food was very good, traditional Japanese. Fantastic location, basically across the street from the ferry we took for Onomichi. And by the bike path. The Main Street starts around the corner. All the staff is wonderful. The hostesses are incredibly kind, fun and caring, they will assist you with anything. They picked us up at the Setoda bus station, we were grateful. You can rent a bike nearby. Also I forgot my iPad on the JR train, they took the matter in their hands and I got it the next day!! We spent 3 nights and it was great. We will definitely come back if in the area again.

מקום האירוח Hagi No Yado Tomoe שוכן במיקום נוח ברובע Hagi Onsen-kyo בהאגי, במרחק של 1 ק''מ מחוף קיקוגאהאמה, 1.8 ק''מ מShokasonjuku Academy ו-1.8 ק''מ מShoin Shrine. loved our stay here! the room was sooo spacious, more than enough room for 2 people. we really felt like we were having a true japanese ryokan experience. everything in the room, from the tatami to the bathroom was so clean and comfortable. the staff was very welcoming and they even came to pick us up from the train station! the front desk helped us with suggestions for different restaurants and called to make reservations for us, they were very accommodating. the onsen was sooo beautiful and really made our stay just perfect. the japanese breakfast was included and it was truly a work of art, every bite was delicious and a feast for the senses. we enjoyed their complimentary coffee while viewing the japanese gardens off the reception area, so relaxing. overall it was just wonderful and we couldn't have asked for anything better. oh and the staff also took us back to the train station after we checked out! would definitely stay here again.
