She always made sure we had everything we needed before leaving and coming back from our daily trips. It was like staying at some "real Japanese people's home".

Kotono yado Musashino offers accommodation in Nara, and is located a 11-minute drive from Nara Station on the Kintetsu Nara Line. Excellent service, location, food and accommodation. Simply perfect.

Wakasa Annex features an outdoor hot public bath and free WiFi. Other facilities include a 24-hour reception, drinks vending machines and free parking. Todai-ji Temple is only an 8-minute walk. We were absolutely blown away by the hotel and the staff. The location was also fantastic. This hotel was an absolute highlight of our trip because of its authentic Japanese hospitality and the earth and care from the staff. The breakfast was out of this world!!

Offering public baths, Yoshidaya Ryokan よしだや is situated in front of Sarusawa-ike Pond. Kofuku-ji Temple is just a 2-minute walk away. Free WiFi is available on site. It was incredible. We arrived early before check-in . Dropped our luggage, and the hotel is right at the entrance of the park. The staff is very polite and we had a wonderful tradiontal Japanese breakfast.

The accommodation facility of Gyokuzoin Temple features a hot public bath. The hotel is located in Mount Shigisan and houses a souvenir shop and drinks vending machines. Unique experience! Totally fine for a solo traveller. Rooms are tatami+futon and absolutely huge. There's a communal bath that is very good. Food was also very nice.

Hotelul New Wakasa este situat la 12 minute de mers pe jos de Gara Kintetsu Nara şi oferă camere în stil japonez, cu podea cu tatami (ţesătură din paie). The property was very clean, staff were friendly and it was a unique experience. Thank you!

Tsukihitei is located in the Kasugayama Primeval Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Location, hotel, staff and food was excellent

From the moment you walk in the staff, decor, layout is perfect. A magical experience from start to finish. The staff were so polite and informative. The room was exceptional and a real snap shot into traditional Japanese style. The facilities like the onsen were perfect. So clean and well presented. Very quiet and peaceful with great views. The traditional breakfast was delightful and a real joy. One of the best experiences ever. Amazing.
