It’s a genuine resort in the sense that you go there to relax and do nothing. It is high up on a hill away from noisy tourists. The room comes equipped with private onsen bath with a hinoki tub.

We stayed for four nights. The atmosphere in the hotel is wonderful if you seek tranquility and relaxation. The Onsen was just great and we used it everday. Also the food quality was exceptionell (Kaiseki style). We were 100% satisfied with our stay.

Ryokan Asunaro: A Traditional Japanese Inn in Takayama. Nestled just a 6-minute walk from Takayama Station and the Nohi Bus Center, Ryokan Asunaro offers an authentic Japanese inn experience. Spacious room, everything was well arranged and organised. Staff was helpful and professional, and provided all necessary information we needed to know about. And the guidebook in the room showed info about how to travel around the area. And there is a laundry room and we could pay to wash and dry (p.s. very reasonable prices). On-site free parking is a plus too!!

Just a 2-minute walk from Takayama Station, Oyado Koto No Yume offers Japanese-style rooms with a colourful touch. Great ryokan style hotel. comfortable futons, nice room, public onsen is not too hot which worked well for us. Attitude of the staff is amazing. We booked without dinner- so can not rate that. Convenience store is just around the corner, hotel has microwave.

Located in a 100 year-old Registered Tangible Cultural Property, Ryokan Hostel K's House is located in Shizuoka, a 7-minute walk from JR Ito Train Station. Good location, really nice Onsen and excellent food near by.

Nestled in the tranquil Hida Mountains, Miyama Ouan Kyoritsu Resort offers traditional accommodation featuring hot spring baths and nature views. This is an Onsen Paradise!! Is like the Onsen amusement park! The place is incredible! So many services!! Everything is just amazing; the town, the hotel, the room, the baths… they even allow you to check the bath of another hotel, in case you did not have enough! I have been in many Ryokan and this was TOP!

We have never experienced this kind of luxury in our lives….. this place and environment totally blew our minds! We had te luxury to stay in the villa, and exceeded all our expectations. The views, the pool, the sauna, the hotspring tub, the fireplace, the BBQ… it was more than enough to really end our holiday totally relaxed! We were supposed to go to Tokyo the last 3 days of our holiday, but we where glad that we canceled that, and went to Shikuoka instead! The falls and wasabi fields and hikes nearby were great excursions, and then come back to the villa was a real dream! Also there were no other guests, so we had the whole place for ourselves…. Syukaen Yunohanazen se 4 hvězdičkami se nachází v destinaci Atami. Zhruba 1,2 km od ubytování se nachází Pláž Atami Sun Beach, 27 km daleko je Hakone-Yumoto Station a 29 km Chrám Shuzenji. All staff was friendly. The view from the room was amazing. The food was incredible!

Iroriyado Hidaya se nachází v destinaci Takajama a nabízí ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm a sdíleným loungem. Takajama vlakové nádraží je 1,6 km daleko. There's so much to love about this ryokan. Excellent service, superb onsen, spacious, clean and comfortable room, unlimited snacks. The kids had such a great time they didn't want to leave.

Oni no Sumika se nachází v destinaci Izu a poskytuje ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm a barem. Chrám Shuzenji je 900 metrů daleko. The staff was very nice and helpful. The private bath was fantastic with an open garden! The room was very comfortable and spacious with a garden view. Very pretty. I would have stayed longer.
