Una ciutat carregada d'història i absolutament viva. Recomano visitar-la a peu perquè centre està semipeatonalitzat, i és molt recomanable fer un free tour per conèixer-la molt millor. Molt recomanable la gastronomia i els vins. També pots desplaçar-te a la costa (Blaye i Arcachon) a menjar marisc fresquíssim i uns vins excel·lents. Els preus cars, però la qualitat excel·lent.

Una ciutat molt agradable amb un casc antic amb molt d’ambient, ple de botigues i restaurants. El riu li dona un encant encara més especial. Molt agradable per passejar pel casc antic i si tens temps un passeig en barca pel Garona o també passejades a peu pel passeig a la vora del riu.
