The hotel was not as described . 4 star with bar and restaurant. Bar was very limited and unstocked ,without ice. Restaurant remained closed all days during my stay and both of these was why I chose this hotel. I wish to make a formal complaint to you regarding this so please contact me.

The city has quite a culture, sure it needs investments in the face of the city and getting the historical buildings restored but what it lacks money wise it makes up in places to eat, drink , party and the people are the coolest and prettiest in the whole country. Do take my word for it. Braila, it's something else. Everyone here is handy and resourceful and you can see it very easily.

You can see most of Braila in a day if you're an active person, a weekend if you like to be slow-paced. It is not a bustling city so there's not much partying or any such activities, it is quiet and a bit old fashioned, if you're into that sort of thing.

This place is a hidden gem.
When we arrived, for one night only, the lady on reception upgraded us to a huge suite on the top floor.
The room was absolutely silent during the night, which was pleasing.
Parking is free and located in a secured, gated area just outside the front door of the hotel.
The restaurant serves all sorts of meals at a reasonable price and the staff were helpful and attentive.
Breakfast here is good and freshly cooked.
We would rate this hotel as 11/10 and will certainly stay here again.
It's just good for it's money. Not more, not less. Just for a night stay.
- pretty fresh interior
- clean room
- WiFi works ok
- restaurant + bar downstairs (but closes pretty early for hotel guests, not for banquet)
