I was amazed by the professional attitude of the lady at reception. She was very friendly, knowledgeble and representative. She gave us all needed tips and tricks to maximize enjoyment of our stay in Saarbrücken. She showed that hospitality is not a skill that everyone can learn, but she proved with her actions that hospitality is a spirit, you need to be born for.

The room is a good size with a big window and glass door onto a nice little balcony with a chair. Two single beds pushed together with two (small) single duvets! Bed was comfortable enough; slept well. Tele. Some of the room looks updated. The rest looks outdated. The 1970’s glass & brass lamp is ‘retro’ at best! Small things like this.
The shower room and toilet has been refurbished to a high standard. Big glass shower cubicle with two headed shower. The second shower head on the side wall is in the way! Funky sink and impressive mirror and radiator. Everything very smart with stupid 1970’s plastic hairdryer! Why? Toiletries and towels. Plenty of hot water.
Downstairs is a bar and restaurant. The receptionist/bar girl/waitress was wonderful. Very pleasant and helpful. The soups were lovely. The steak with pepper sauce too salty by far; but good portions. Krombacher beer if you interested. Breakfast was very good. Plenty of it at a good price. Gherkins!

Dry sauna, steam sauna, jacuzzi, cold water basin, shower, outdoor pool, cold water bucket, heated stone benches, relaxation room, and massage area. Outstanding massage service. It's worth noting that saunas and spas in this region of Germany are commonly naturist/nudist. Friendly service. Highly recommend. Additionally, some rooms features a whirlpool bathtub.
