I arrived in Siargao by flight from Manila, from the airport to the accommodation I took a van for 40 minutes to the accommodation together with other tourists. We rented a scooter and went all over the island and the landscapes are beautiful. Places we liked: - Island Coconut Trees View Deck, Magpopongko Rock Pools and Flats, Maasin Bridge River Swing and Cloud 9 area - Siargao Island Hopping (Naked Island, Daku Island, and Guyam Island) Restaurants we liked: - Las Barricas Siargao - CEV - Big BellyRoxanaRomania - 10Scored 10

It was Dope!!!!💯❗️❤️❤️❤️. The Ocean view.. the peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful view was on point. The open Kitchen excellent. The caretakers were very friendly and polite and very helpful. Stay jumpstarted our month long tour. It set a beautiful precedent that was set and upped our expectations for El Nido. The stay was so good that we are now going to see about purchasing property there. The owner was very gracious about letting us use the Villa which is what I wanted. I have nothing but respect and positive feedback for our Stay. We will be looking forward to going there again.AAnonymous - 4.0Scored 4.0

Crazy crowded unfortunately. I have been knowing General Luna for more than 12 years and this place unfortunately is getting less and less attractive to me. It has become like a party place and probably it is attractive to those party people.

General Luna or Reef Beach Hotel is a Fleabag, literally. We were bitten by fleas in the bed and unfortunately we only realized the source on the 3rd day. This wasn’t even the room they were supposed to reserve for us after we paid half, 6 months in advance, they informed us Sorry, we didn’t keep your room“. They took responsibility for the fleas and moved us to another room. They did NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY TO REFUND US OUR MONEY, not even for the 3 nights, even though we were itching and scratching for another week. They offered to pay our medical expenses. Believe me, I would rather pay full price and no fleas. DON’T GO THERE, ITS NOT WORTH IT. _________ And this is before telling you about 3 parties into the night with music blasting (out of the 6 nights we booked there). The cockroaches in the rooms and reception. The smell of the room, but they did give us air freshener

This is probably what Boracay was 25 years ago. It's got a great laid-back feel to it with hardly any touts and the restaurants are quite rustic but fit in really well and you have a lot to choose from. The main activity here is surfing but there is a diving option, but the sites aren't up to much.MartinHong Kong

From the second we arrived at the hostel we were welcomed in to the family with tea and coffee, home cooked meals, delicious pastries for breakfast and recommendations on how to make the most of our trip to Siargao! I couldn’t recommend this hostel enough, we felt so welcomed and the hostel was very tidy. Such a lovely family/Hosts and if I was to return to Siargo, I would 100% stay at El Lobo.

Although a motorcycle is needed to make it more comfortable (around 10 min to GL), we had one and it was great. We had the beachfront villa and in literally in 3 steps we were in the water. It was amazing. Also a plus is that the hotel have paddle surf boards for the guests to use for free. A special mention to Ramil (the front desk man) for showing us everything and for making us feel at home.

Beautiful landscaping around the villas and property and incredible multi level pool with waterfall and mood lighting in the evenings. Would highly suggest renting a motorbike while anywhere on Siargao. Tricycles are standing by outside to take those without motorbikes.

We were able to find plenty of restaurants in walking distance or grab a tricycle easily. The staff was excellent, they assisted us with every inquiry. Especially Leonardita was a great host, she booked our airport transfer, booked a trip for us and gave us a scooter to rent. We will definitely come again!
