Really nice and clean rooms, comfy beds and super close to the airport. There is breakfast at the hotel and across the street there is a 7-eleven, a cafe and some restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpfull, they organize free transport to the airport.

Sheraton Cebu Mactan ticked all the boxes for us. It was during our first stay in 2024 that I found the resort had exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort and relaxation. Stayed for one night only and it was perfect for what we needed. The bed was comfy, the AC worked, there was a fridge in the room, breakfast was a buffet and hot, and the staff were the friendliest people I have met yet in the Philippines. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Location was perfect. Had a room off the pool, it was lovely. Pool was amazing. Surrounded by beautiful trees and garden, and so quiet, hard to believe it was right in the city across from an airport! Very impressed! Alacarte breakfast at uno was wonderful. Definitely get the mango smoothie!

It is a perfect getaway to travel for leisure and vacation.

It is a perfect getaway to travel for leisure and vacation. Nice beaches. No traffic. Places for groceries, massage, laundry, restaurants ,shops are just around the corner and walking distance. You don't have to ride. Very convenient. I will definitely come back.

The resort is best for family with a kid since it is peaceful, clean, beautiful and very friendly staff. We stayed for my daughter's 17th birthday there and the restaurant gave a slice of cake with birthday greetings which mader her birthday extra special. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. 😍

Mactan felt poor and overcrowded to us.

Mactan felt poor and overcrowded to us. It is true that we arrived after flooding and typhoons, but I am afraid that the trash is a constant problem here. People live along the sidewalks, sometimes even in cardboard boxes that are often placed literally on piles of garbage. Emaciated dogs roam around, and roosters are tied on short strings. Children beg for money. If you want to go on excursions, you have to travel quite far, yet there are constant traffic jams, so even short distances take an unreasonably long time. Choose other islands.

it was good and convenient to have Robinsons next door easy to get a taxi We ate a lot at the round building near the fountains opposite MacDonalds. we did not go to the local beach as the charge was WAY to much. there is two Chemists just nearby

We chose a resort on Mactan because it was close to Cebu...

We chose a resort on Mactan because it was close to Cebu City and we only had three days at the end of an island hopping cycling tour that finished in Cebu City. Now that we have seen other islands I would recommend that guests take a ferry and go to Bohol or Soquijor islands if they have more than 2 nights stay available. The overall experience will be much nicer , including better beaches and snorkeling.

To be honest it isn't a particularly scenic island.

To be honest it isn't a particularly scenic island. I was there to complete my scuba training. In hindsight, I should have gone elsewhere in the Philippines. The people are very friendly, but they are everywhere in the Philippines. I would suggest avoiding the island and Cebu city. You would be better off in Bohol etc. Far more beautiful.

This hotel is close to Cebu-Mactan International Airport, maybe 10 minutes depending on traffic. Rooms were clean and modern and did offer room service. Water pressure was ok and two people can shower, together. Good for a overnight stay before flight but for a few days, not great.
