Nice size rooms with air conditioning. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good food provided and nice snorkeling off the jetty. They can help with transport or motorcycle hire if needed.

Closeness to nature, which is still unspoiled. Lots of birds, fishes and ofcourse the marine life that is easy accessible from PapuArts Alter Native Stay. Family feeling; easily to feel at home with this lovely family of four (Helga, Timon and their 2 beautiful young daughters who love to make friends). Oh, and I forgot their two sweet dogs Ringo & Dingo 🐾🐾 Owners are very helpful and speak several languages so easy to communicate with them. Internet is sometimes a bit unstable so take that into account when expecting speedy replies (sometimes it just doesn’t work and patience is a good thing to have). The food - home style cooking (breakfast, lunch and dinner are all cooked by the owner and her team and she is a great cook; we loved every meal which was perfectly catered to our vegetarian / pescatarian wishes) The rooms are close to nature as well, with very comfy beds (we stayed in both the smaller and the biggest family room, which easily fits 3 respectively 4 people; the 3rd bed in the smaller room has a wonderful treehouse feeling and there is a bunkbed in the biggest room). Hard to capture the beauty of the rooms in just one picture (I took several but could only post one here with my review). You can hear the sea and birds from your bedroom. It’s right next to you. No frills, just natural materials, which we loved. Also no warm water, but easily to get used to. There’s a shower and mandi style shower. Also your own toilet. Plus the blue blue sea right at your doorstep and a lovely sitting area with a hammock to complete the zen-feeling. There’s a long jetty into the sea with a perfect spot for exercise/meditation/yoga at the end. Fitness with a view! It’s quiet and feels very private. You instantly feel relaxed here. Different excursions to choose from, both on land and on/under the sea. Please note: these come at an extra cost and Raja Ampat area is not cheap!!!! Rooms were really comfortable, over the water all that was needed. AC a real bonus. Food was good quality and quantity. The team provided 3 dives a day, well guided and safe. On our days off diving, they arranged tours to see other amazing locations.

Lots of good food friendly staff beautiful location and plenty of privacy. All the food is local Indonesian which is what I look for when I travel. And an all you can eat buffet and the sun decks are nice

It was middle of the main diving sides, and so relaxing The team so kind and helpful, they are happy to serve the fresh coconut 🥥 from tree. and if you need assistance while snorkeling they are happy to help you

very warm homestay. I had very great time here. There was no guest excepting me.but I've never felt lonely cause the family always care me and kids played with me. foods were very nice. The fish which Grace （second daughter）caught and coocked was great.

The location is really exceptional, it's basically like being in paradise, you just have to walk a little bit to get into the water. Other thing to note is the porch of the bungalows with two hammocks where we spent many hours. We also really liked the dining area, which was very close to the bungalows and right in front of the beach. I will definitely come back if I have the chance.

The bungalow was clean and comfortable. Shower had good pressure and was hot. The meals included were good and in large quantities. We went on diving and sightseeing excursions. They partner with Olin to organise excursions, they pick-you up at the jetty so it’s very convenient.

Authentic island living, beautiful and peaceful. Tranquil setting and delicious food. The family who owns the place are accommodating and very kind.

Fantastic stay! Comfortable and clean rooms, bedding and en-suites. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great selection of food options and fully stocked pool bar was great. Really nice pool to laze around and they even help with motorcycle hire to explore the surrounding area with suggestions for sightseeing and nice local restaurants. Ride to Blue river is a must!
