This was my first time to Omaha and Nebraska itself.
This was my first time to Omaha and Nebraska itself. The drivers in Nebraska are HORRIBLE. This makes sense considering the people are RUDE AS HELL! Didn’t come across a single friendly Nebraskan my entire time there. You would think they all hate their life or something. Honestly, skip Nebraska and go to Colorado. Better food, cooler people, and a much more pleasant vibe. Pretty scenery though.

We went to Old Market and walked around the cobblestone streets and got some ice cream. We walked around the park, water way and the ice skating rink at night. It was very pretty. Downtown was interesting as were a few places to visit a short drive away. We didn’t get a chance to explore to a great extent all the places, but did enough in a couple days to satisfy us and give us a sense of what there is to do. Definitely hit the mini golf place and Durham museum. Walk around and explore the shops. Definitely hit the candy store with two rooms filled with pinball and old video games.

Weather was our enemy this time ! We always have a great time Omaha is surely making a name for itself with big improvements of the old market ! It’s great for family’s there’s many different things to do, the zoo, museums, downtown , theaters , plenty of places for kids of all ages think there’s something fro everyone no matter the age or gender, or preferences

The people of Nebraska are wonderful.
The people of Nebraska are wonderful. Haven’t had a ton of good experiences with the people of Iowa. Omaha is more like Iowa than Nebraska. The zoo is absolutely all it’s cracked up to be, but get in, do your business there, and get out without touching anything else if you can. Speaking of which, be careful getting in and out of Omaha. There is zero traffic enforcement in that city and people drive like they know it.

When I asked how far walking distance an ice cream shop was and if it would be safe to walk my two children they both said it would be fine. I ended up buy snacks from front desk mutiple times because of my kids. I would have to say this hotel hired some of the most sweet and funny staff members. If you have never been to Omaha you should stay here. Its a brief walk to some shops and statues.

It has ample parking to accommodate parties traveling with more than one vehicle. It offers good value for those who aren't interested in paying for a fancy location or surroundings. Our room was large enough to accommodate a comfortable arm chair--always a nice addition to the ubiquitous hotel room desk chair. The king size bed was very comfortable. Has washer and dryer for guest use.

They have a shuttle that will pick you up at the airport and will also take you to local attractions such as the zoo and Durham museum. Just ask at the front desk. Courtney at the bar was fantastic and one night we arrived as she was finishing up and she stayed and took care of us. She also waited on us the next night at our dinner table and did the same. Funny and personable. Stop and see her.
