Very central and within close distance to all the great shops and restaurants. The room was modern, spacious and clean. I was surprised by the good size of the room. Service minded and nice staff, who gave me a late check out. One of the better Radisson Blu Hotels I have stayed at.

Difficult to write anything here since we only stayed overnight and left very early in the morning..
If I were to write something then I'd say it's location is very nice and once all the construction works are done in the surrounding area then it might be a very beautiful location.

First of all, the staff was extremely kind and attentive. We were welcomed and seen off very well. The breakfast was way above my expectations. It was very varied and the products were very fresh. The location of the hotel made it easy to reach every part of the city. Both rooms were comfortable. The room size was very good. We were very pleased with the room cleaning. Our room was cleaned regularly every day. The bathroom was very hygienic. I can say that the beds were the most comfortable among the hotels I have ever stayed in. We will choose this hotel again on our next trip. Thank you very much again.

The check in process was very easy and the amenities offered to us for free with the room exceeded our expectations. The self-service free breakfast was very comprehensive, with good vegetarian options as well as a nice coffee machine. Waffles are also available from 4pm-9pm and they went down very well with our group!
We booked a family room as 4 friends travelling together and the room itself was very spacious, and we did not feel cramped at all.
The location is just under a ten minute walk from the old town, and there is a tram stop that can take you all throughout zone A so getting around is really easy too!
The lady at reception (I'm sorry I forgot to get your name) was super helpful and accommodating, letting us store our luggage for the day and stay in the common areas after we checked out too.

Lovely little city, with great transport links to Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, if you are wanting to travel around a bit like we did. Great selection of shops, bars and restaurants - Brodernas was our favourite, great prices and amazing food and drink.

I travelled with my friends and I really did not like the city. People there were rude and not accessible enough for tourists like us. We went to one of the clubs named yakida in night after dinner, the guard simply denied our entry and said only guest list people are allowed. But he was allowing every other person from their own country very easily without checking anything.
We felt discriminated there. Tried to ask people here and there but no fruitful response.
Addition to this, There was not too many things to see in gothenburg. I really didn’t like it that much. And would not recommend to anyone.

Gothenburg is not that touristic so don’t expect to find a lot of attractions. It’s great for shopping, I specially liked the tons of second hand and vintage stores around. Also, there are so many delicious vegan restaurants. I’m not vegan but I was fascinated.
Another tip is to go to the islands around to take a walk and a coffee. You can get there pretty easy and the same ticket for the train serves for the ferry.

You have to go to Hagastaden.
You have to go to Hagastaden. We found a lovely fish restaurant which was a godsend while walking in the blizzard.
Strange that the bar Paddys had a man serving who insisted on calling me sir and knew nothing about alcohol.
The bar a few doors down; John Scotts closed about 7 pm. This may be usual for Gothenburg, I have no idea.

Very small city so not much to do if you're there longer than 3 days maybe. We went for the Christmas Markets, for 2 nights, so that was the perfect amount of time and we did everything we wanted to do. Lovely atmosphere and the food is yummy (the Swedish meatballs). Liseberg theme park is huge and a good activity. Haga is good for little cafes.

Very interesting city, alternative sort of scene with cool bars and restaurants, plenty of parks, great museums and very well connected thanks to the frequent public transport. One of my fav spots in Sweden for sure! :)
A nice and relatively cheap way to stay in Goteborg. The breakfast was amazing and a good bang for your buck. The location is good. Close to the park and in walking distance of the city center (+- 20 minutes) , although you can also take a tram if you don't like walking. The neighborhood is nice with plenty of little restaurants and supermarkets.
The parking was also very good and convenient.
It's still rather pricey compared to other European hostels, but you know things are more expensive in Sweden.
Exceptional experience of this newly renovated place! Our room was spacious. Although it's just the two of as a couple. It is perfect for family as there is an added room with a double deck bed in the room. A perfect place in the city centre right beside the biggest theme park.
Service was helpful and great from our first check-in upon an early arrival. The public transport was outside too. And the restaurants had impeccable service. The Breakfast spread is a MUST include!
Central location - less than 10 minutes walk to/from Central Railway Station and Bus Station, Lilla Bommen (harbour) is nearby and you can catch boats (public transport ones and private) to other places in Goteborg.
Lots of breakfast options to suit various dietary needs.
Friendly staff and check-out is till 12pm.
Interiors are great, well-thought-out and great use of tech. however this might be applicable to most of Sweden and Scandinavia.
We had a lovely three nights in this hotel. It is pricey like everything in Sweden, but its worth the money. We had a really nice breakfast with diverse choice of milks(vegan, eco, lactose free..) and also fresh squeezed orange juice and fresh filter coffee. Beds are very comfortable, and there are dumbells in the rooms(4kg). We got clean towels everyday, and two bottles of water for welcome, and on the second day which was very kind.
The hotel is located near the city centre of Gothenburg and is still easily accessible by car. Our room was not extraordinary, but clean and despite the orientation towards the street rather quiet.
What's really lovable about Hotel Allén is the opportunity to bake waffles in the breakfast room in the evening. As good is the breakfast itself with a wide range of options.
Also worth mentioning is the very friendly hotel staff :)
We did pay for the best rom you have at the hotell. It was okay, big and stuff. But we can smell pee in the room. We don't know why. We did pay a lot for this room and that not okay. We did find a card for the last guest. super weird, but the room is big and good and the breakfast is super good. We did not have room service. Why do you don't have that? it is a 5 star hotell that don't have it and that's weird.
Very unique, staying on a ship outside of a cruise. The staff were awesome! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Friendliest people I’ve met in Sweden since living here for almost 5 years.
The room was clean, bathroom was nice and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was almost nice and they have coffee and tea all day with light snacks available.
I will come back here again!
A nice surprise on my 4weeks long trip. Traditional hotel ...at the moment decorated in Halloween mood. Nice job. There is not a negative word to be said about the place. Actually there are my thanks to Moa (reception) and restaurant team for their hospitality and kindness.
Walking distance to Attractions Park and also to the city center.
Once in Göteborg, would stay again.
Clean hotel in the renovated and modern area of Göteborg. Despite being quite distant from city center there is a lot of transport opportunities nearby (bus, ferry) so it’s not a problem. Our room was clean and cozy and we were enjoying stay there. The breakfast was very good, complete with different options. The rooms also have teapots and free tea and coffee.
The design of the hotel was super cool. For breakfast, I dropped and broke a pepper mill, and I confessed to the staff. She was like “It's ok, thank u for telling me :)”.
Not only the hotel but also the staff was excellent ✨✨✨ I will definitely come back to stay if I have a chance to visit Sweden again. Thank u.
It was a great choice for our stay in Göteborg. The hotel is very close to the city centre, which helped us visit many places easily. The staff was excellent, they made you feel at home. The rooms were clean and tidy. The lobby was full of books and good energy. Easily a 10/10🙂!!!
The staff were very accommodating to our requests - when we asked for a hdmi for the room, they gave it to us and they were very friendly. The breakfast was very good and overall the stay was great value and only a 10 minute walk to the city centre - would stay again
Overall good hotel, but not what I would expect for a 5 star hotel. Hotel grounds is beautifully decorated, staff very friendly and the best part was the delicious breakfast (probably one of the best I’ve had).
I could not live in it .. the reason is the travel restrictions to Sweden and the reservation was not refundable .. so I do not have any evaluation, perhaps at another time I can live in it
Great location and very nice staff. Comfy bed, spacious bathroom, quiet during the night. Excellent price. A good hotel to stay in Göteborg for a few days without spending a fortune.
