Peaceful and quiet location. Room was sweet and cosy. Bed comfy. I felt very safe there being a solo female traveller which is important to me. Lovely morning chorus of birds singing. Loved it.

Breakfast staff were amazing
Food at dinner was very good but found the host abit annoying felt bit rushed from bar to dinner and we had to finish our cocktails quickly as wanted close up early fof us . Rooms are small bit cramped and the cleaners were very noisy early morning

From the moment we were on site all of our expectations were knocked out of the park. The location is stunning with plenty to see and do. The property was spotless on entry and the welcome basket of goodies was such a lovely added touch. The beds were super comfortable and the housekeeping team were so friendly and checked everything was ok for us. This is by far 5 star accommodation and we will definitely be back! We didn’t want to leave! Thank you to the team at Harewood Holidays x

Knap Yard is a stunning group of seven properties, former estate workers' accommodation I think. All beautifully appointed. We stayed in Cherry Blossom, but other family members were in Lavender and Thyme Cottages. They are all terrific. Well appointed. Situated on a quiet part of the estate, not far from the House. There was a great welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We did some of our own cooking/BBQ etc. but also went up to the Muddy Boots café for breakfasts etc. Although I think it does proper meals too! What's not to like? We will be back!
Communication with the host was excellent. The cottage was immaculate and exceeded our expectations. The beds are super comfy. The kitchen is very well equipped, you could cook anything here. You have a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer and drier. You are given washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, anti bac spray and cloths - so you don't need to bring anything. The location is secure and quiet. Access to the grounds of Harewood House is such a bonus and ideal with kids.
Apple Tree cottage. Two-bed cottage, modernised to a very high standard with attention to detail with organic toiletries, locally sourced welcome hamper, plenty of cleaning products to use as you wish. Very pretty garden with the ability to walk around the estate from your front door - we must have visited the bird garden everyday and walked on the Harewood estate every day.
The location is perfect for those that like the quiet with easy access to many walking routes. Several spots for food within (a reasonable) walking distance either in Harewood or Harewood house itself. The accommodation was tastefully decorated and had everything you could need.
we had 3 houses between 9 of us - bramble, thyme and apple tree. this set up all on the same courtyard worked really well. beds were really comfortable. really nice decor and finish on the properties. good value for money. great location on harewood estate.
Being on the Harewood estate and having access to Harewood House on the very last day it was open before closing for the season. The cottage itself was immaculate, stylishly decorated yet understated and warm in the autumnal weather.
The location is a dream, set it acres of private estate with deer, red kites , swans, rabbits and boar all on the grounds. The state boadts a himalyan harden, lake, 2 cafes, harewood house the list goes on...
Truly fantastic.
Location was beautiful, very calm and tranquil setting. Log burner was great and the whole cottage had everything you needed. Would definitely return and use Harewood cottages again.
The location was beautiful and so peaceful, it was lovely to be able to walk around the grounds of Harewood House, everyone we met was very friendly. Good pub nearby for dinner.
