Tina was a great host, he has a wonderful house with all the original millwork, patterned plaster walls and more. The bed was very comfortable compared to the rock-hard slabs at most places. If I find myself in Troy, we will most definitely stay again.

It was a good stay for me. I'm giving it 5 stars relative to the experience I was expecting. It's not a 5 star hotel with all the wild amenities, but it is a 5 star for a simple hotel with the necessities you need. Most of all it was clean and the check-in/Check-out was great.
I wanted an affordable room, off the highway that was clean and provided a good sleep.
Good pillows, good mattress, room was very clean and well stocked with what I needed. The location was convenient and close to food and right where I needed it on my route down from Canada.
Centrally located in Latham, New York, this completely non-smoking hotel offers thoughtful services and fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere just 5 km from Albany International Airport.

Really great breakfast and nice communication. Our choice to stay here did not disappoint, we are very satisfied :)
The hotel is very close to Rensselaer! Hot breakfast was great and the staff is very attentive. Make sure you check the beds for stains and be prepared to make your own bed if needed as there is no housekeeping at night.

Unfortunately our stay at Olde Judge Mansion did NOT allow us any sleep so it tainted our visit tremendously. We came for the Waterford Tugboat Roundup and that has been a great event in the past. D/T very bad accomodations at the B&B we couldn't stay for the evening events. We loved what we saw of the show. We also went to a bakery in Latham called Bella Napoli and it was fantastic with great prices and even better selections!

Only an overnight stay to tour Rensaleer Polytechnic.
Only an overnight stay to tour Rensaleer Polytechnic. If we had toured during Fall or Spring we definitely would have made it a full weekend. Downtown looks very charming. We did eat at Slidin' Dirty & it was excellent. Would highly recommend checking it out

Really loved being able to walk to so many great restaurants, bars, & breweries. Dinasaur BBQ has amazing food right on the waterfront & there was a "Rockin on The River" concert outdoors as well. Lo Porto Ristaurante has amazing Italian cuisine & great wine selection as well.
The house is a treasure: for its history and Tina, the host - a skilled story teller. Her long experience with running a Bed and Breakfast shows as she is acutely aware of each and everyone needs. The Olde Judge Mansion represents the golden age of the Bed and Breakfast concept. You will meet people from all walk of life and enjoy a wonderful breakfast in their company or on your own. If you are looking for a colorful stay in an old part of Troy at a walking distance from the riverfront, this is it!
This place was absolutely fantastic. When we entered we were absolutely mystified in the best way. We spent a couple of hours just lingering around the first floor, enjoying the open spaces available to guests. The location is ideal because it’s 10 minutes from Albany, barely an hour from some hiking locations, and it’s super cheap. Next time we pass through, we are definitely finding an excuse to stay here again (this time a larger room!). The host Tina is charming and helpful, and super genuine.
I visited for RPI graduation. Which was was virtual during the pandemic. The proprietor welcomed me to use a table in her lovely dining room to watch online well after my checkout with coffee and all! And she made me eggs for breakfast!!! She is a gem! You don’t get these amenities at a chain hotel. It’s a Beautiful old mansion. Each room is unique and decorated with charm and includes the necessities as well. My room included a bathroom, Hugh tv and nice desk to work at.
Breakfast was great. The Hotel staff was very helpful. We came to enjoy the National Orchestra of Ukraine at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall, which is only 5 blocks away. Little did we know that the full orchestra was staying there, and we had breakfast with the First Violin, and the Maestro! We will be back and recommend this Hotel to anyone who is travelling to Troy.
The place was very clean but it let itself down with a very uncomfortable bed, almost as if the springs had gone on one side of the mattress. Considering the hotel looks fairly new the bed was a surprise plus it could have done with a blanket or duvet, it is winter after all. Room 304.
Over all the room was pretty clean, I am a super clean person so I notice the the spot on the door frame for the bathroom and the bathroom floor had a few spots but over all it was pretty clean. The two staff members I dealt with were both friendly. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed in this hotel for two nights, it's located very near Troy center (which is not a big city). Breakfast was ok, with some hot food selection, but the variety wasn't big. It's typical 3 star hotel nothing much to comment.
Room was clean and ok, nothing more can be said. Had to deal with people coming in all night and slamming doors. Was not impressed. Would suggest travelers stay at another location out of Troy.
A quiet and comfortable B&B located minutes from downtown Troy. The owner whipped up a fantastic breakfast, served on the patio. A nice alternative to the usual business accommodations.
