Lovely facilities, everything was so spacious. There was a wedding on so we were put in a room that was away from the noise which was great but meant we didn’t have a balcony.
On our second night we were lucky enough to be there when the hotel was used for the venue of a candlelight concert as well so we were able to attend that at no cost which was a real treat.
The breakfast had plenty of variety - best scrambled eggs and cuppacino!
The staff were fabulous and so helpful.

Lecce dazzles every visitor offering one of Italy’s best preserved walled historic centres. Its wonders include tasteful traditional cuisine, rich wines, and charming shops. Located near the crystalline waters of both the Adriatic and Ionian beaches, it is a perfect base to explore the Salentine Peninsula.
Its origins are unclear, but it is believed that dates back to the 12th or 11th century BC, when Italic tribes founded a settlement nearby, which Romans later occupied and relocated to its current position. The pages of its history are filled by Byzantine rulers, several invasions, a Norman rebirth, and an annexation to the Kingdom of Sicily.
Its distinctive Baroque style is combined with well-preserved Roman remnants. Don’t miss the historic centre during sunset, when the light creates a perfect contrast between the blue sky and the mild-yellow colour of the limestone buildings. St Oronzo Square houses the Roman Amphitheatre, while the outstanding Holy Cross Basilica is a must. Don’t miss the magic of staying in a hotel or B&B in Lecce’s Old Town.
The city is serviced by the local railway station, while Brindisi Airport is 45 km away. Whether you’re searching for rural accommodation in the surroundings of Lecce, a resort on the nearby beaches, or a cosy guest house in the centre, check out the deals available on Booking.com.

Lecce is a cute city center if you want to appreciate the history of Southern Italy. It really only needs a few days to visit. The transportation is the biggest hinderance and would be best advised to rent a car for this part of the jounery.

Lecce is a beautiful city and justly renowned for its baroque architecture. Very well worth going to see. A good range of restaurants and some nice shops. We were there in August and it was hot and crowded. Probably the spring or autumn would be more comfortable. Looking forward to going again.

I love southern Italy as it's more welcoming and homely compared to the north. As for Lecce, it's a beautiful city, and its historical centre is a joy to stroll through. Its people are warm and friendly, and there's a great variety of restaurants and things to see and do. Plus, there's easy access to other towns in Puglia, making it a perfect base to explore the region. The regional train service is superb. Can't wait to return.

Having stayed in many places in Italy Lecce is certainly up there. Beautiful limestone buildings not affected by pollution, still clean. Emphasis was more on plenty of good eating choices in great locations. Less museums and galleries than other main stream Italian cities. You'd do everything if you stayed a week. But with a car there are many other interesting places to visit.

Lecce is a beautiful town in southern Puglia, Salento region. It is very well connected with roads so coming to and leaving the town is very easy. Local people are nice, polite and it doesn't seem that there is a lot of petty-crime. The historical center is simply beautiful and the food is excellent no matter whether you are having a street food or you are enjoying dinner in a nice restaurant. I strongly recommend to all travelers to Puglia to visit Lecce and the wider Salento region.
Excellent location and an easy walk into centro storico Lecce but there are also good bars, restaurants and shops near by. The terrace is huge and lovely for having coffee, meals or just lounging. Arturo is an excellent host and provided coffee pods, olive oil and condiments plus a bottle of wine! The apartment is very well laid out and the kitchen is compact but we prepared several meals during our stay. There is even a toaster which is unusual for Italy and it was very quiet.
Superb boutique hotel in very central location for all of the main attractions that Lecce has to offer. Hotel staff are of the highest quality, extremely helpful, friendly, well trained and knowledgeable.
Even though I found the hotel being only with 6 rooms still we have enjoyed our stay very much and were happy to stay there due to the proximity to almost everywhere in the old town Lecce on foot.
