A beautiful property with lots of history! Our room was incredible! Very spacious, spotlessly clean and an old staircase (not accessible) in the bathroom. The staff were welcoming and so helpful. The pool area is lovely with shades and plenty of seating/lounges and a fresh water outdoor shower. Breakfast was wonderful. Sad to leave after only 1 night.

The B&B is located 10 minutes away from Gallipoli in front of the beautiful Spaggia di Lido Conchiglie. It is a new construction with a marvellous garden, and everything is exquisitely decorated. Very spacious room with the required amenities. Beautiful bathroom, nice towels. Delicious Italian breakfast. Excellent communication and very kind staff always taking care of us. A Magic Southern Jewel

Comprising the south part of Italy’s Region of Puglia, the Salento peninsula is located in the ‘heel’ of the Italian ‘boot’. With an unusual and beautiful landscape, it also has traditions shaped by explorers and invaders from a variety of cultures that reached its coasts.

If Salento is a jewel, the main piece is definitely the city of Lecce. Its walled historic centre is greatly admired for the uniqueness of its Baroque style. It also has a Roman theatre and a Greek amphitheatre, both still in use. Try a hotel in Lecce’s old town and go back in time!

It was so lovely everything being single storey. Such a sense of space and escape. The food was so great. Some of the buffet can be a bit underwhelming, but when you figure out which of the counters to go to for the best food, you're on to a winner. The speciality stall at lunch was incredible. The apertivo times were so good. Such amazing variety. And to cook pasta on mass and still be brilliantly at dente is super impressive. The flavours were amazing, the olive oil available for the tables was so delicious. The staff were all so lovely and accommodating. The kids club and the entertainment activities were so much fun. The beach is small but paradise. The main pool is amazing. Always more than enough sunbeds and umbrellas, and an excellent temperature.

Me and my boyfriend stayed for a long weekend in May at this beautiful, truly private, magical place and we had the best time. The people, especially the host, Adriano, were extremely kind, warm and welcoming, it was hard to leave. The property is stunning, a dreamy place with history, the rooms we saw (we had to switch at some point) were very classy and beautiful. The perfect place to charge batteries, also, incredible food. I am absolutely thrilled and will hopefully be able to come back some time!

I loved the grounds and patios - so beautifully decorated with large pottery urns overflowing with blossoms. I loved listening to the bees buzzing and the birds singing when I first wake up of a morning and seeing all the colourful blossoms - particularly the brilliant bougainvilleas.

We stopped for 2 nights great little city break , plenty of churches to visit, fantastic food places between fast food & elegant restaurants. Visited mascalzone experienced our first fried calzone so many to choose from ! Cafe palmeria for morning coffee & pastry so close to apartment. The secret garden was a delightful restaurant with wonderful food . Taxi’s are expensive for the most part but that’s the only thing I can complain about.

Southern Puglia is quite rustic ... more so in a 37-degree heatwave. You travel quite long distances between Gallipoli, and the towns and sights on the Southern and Eastern coasts of the peninsula. The greater charm seems to be in the north.

It's a beautiful town, with tight alleys, excellent for strolling. There are a couple of things to see, like the Co-cathedral, but the strong point are the restaurants and bars - very lively and high quality. Worth spending 1 day to visit and enjoy. Great to have the base in Ostuni an go out in the evening for dinner and/or drinks.

The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. The view from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking! The kitchen and all amenities are as reflected and more. Parking is on the road, which can get rather busy over the weekend. I would highly recommend this place as the perfect getaway, easily accessible via regional highways and roads.

Taranto is like many other Italian towns and cities: squalor living cheek by jowl with luxury. The Old Town is maze-like, claustrophobic and just a little bit scary. The newer area beyond the castle is, however, very pleasant. There's not much to do but eat and drink unless some event is going on. Do visit the castle.

I recommend Torre dell’Orso to everyone for a holiday. We were there at the end of June. It is an excellent beach that offers all the conditions for enjoyment. During our stay, the beach was full, but there was still enough space for everyone without crowds or noise, and it provided us with an unforgettable experience for all seven days.

It's a quiet lovely town.

It's a quiet lovely town. It doesn't have a picturesque old town but has a decent selection of good places to eat. The beach was amazing, we stayed for a couple of days there and didn't feel we had enough.
