We had an amazing stay at this beautiful hotel in Otranto. The location is fantastic, with an unbelievably well-maintained garden that adds so much charm to the property. The rooms and overall grounds are impeccably cared for, making it one of the most pleasant stays we've had in Italy. The staff were exceptional—attentive, kind, and genuinely the best we've encountered. Breakfast was a highlight, and the pool area is perfect for relaxing. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Otranto!

The staff made us feel very welcome. The accommodation was built with beautiful stonework and had an old world feel. The gardens were really nice with a nice planting scheme, fruit trees and a small farm area. This masseria had the added bonus of having a top notch restaurant. We dined there one evening with lovely food and wine then strolled back to our room. The setting for dining was ideal and the breakfast had a great selection. This is a very quite and private space created in lush green envirnoment. We would highly recommend this masseria.

Absolutely stunning place to stay, beautifully appointed and within easy reach of Otranto, not to mention some gorgeous coastal roads, beaches and scenery. Breakfast was fabulous, with a staggering array of Puglian delicacies. Pool spotlessly clean and sparkling in the sunlight. Room was extremely comfortable, tastefully decorated with plenty of space, and the air con kept us cool in the summer heat. We ate a couple of poolside lunches which were very good value, and enjoyed the on-site 3-course dinner very much too. Wines and drinks were very reasonably priced and the service was excellent. I can't think of a thing wrong with this lovely place, except that our stay there was over too soon!

We loved the Masseria Panareo and will definitely return. The setting is simply stunning, ocean views, vineyards, outdoor seating for the restaurant and bar was so beautiful, the staff were SO friendly and helpful, the swimming pool was really a delight. We didn't use the tennis court. The restaurant is exceptional - the set evening meal changed daily and was really outstanding for food (local produce, fresh pasta, local wines) and value. We enjoyed chatting to staff and the gardens are stunning. Its close to Otranto and just a wonderful place to stay.

Simone, the Manager was so helpful in sorting out hassles with an airline ticket, and problems with booking. com 10 mins easy walk to old town. The staff were superb in all respects whether on reception, at breakfast or the rooms team. A good breakfast to start the day. Location perfect. Our room had a city view balcony, perfect for us Car parking good - 10euros per day/night, just a short walk away.

Great location for a relaxed stay.

Great location for a relaxed stay. If you are after a party town then this is NOT it. But to take some time to wander the old town, enjoy lazy days on the beach, and sample delicious food then highly recommended.

Visited during Easter holidays.

Visited during Easter holidays. We found an interesting mix of old (the historic centre is great!) and new (on Sunday evening there were at least 2 locations with live DJ music where lots of young people were dancing and enjoying the moments while in the morning there was no one in those areas - it was like two opposite faces of the same small town). Thea beaches are sandy with clear turquoise water.

We only stayed in Otranto for a day and a night, and will definitely be coming back! Centro Storico is really nice, and I would like to explore it more thoroughly. The castle is beautiful at night! Otranto would make a perfect location for exploring the southern heel of Puglia.

A comfortable size town to explore on foot. Town, beaches and sea very clean. Host of eateries A place to relax and make return visits. Ideal for young families and adults not looking for nightlife. Restriction of local buses in October onwards.

I spent 11 nights in Otranto and used it to visit many areas...

I spent 11 nights in Otranto and used it to visit many areas in the southern most part of Puglia. It is a beautiful place with the warm Adriatic Sea to cool you down after the exertions of shopping and sight-seeing. Restaurants are plentiful but if I was to select one that we loved, it was Retro Gusto. Getting around Otranto is relatively stress free and if you enjoy people watching, then you are in your element in Otranto.

This is our second time to beautiful Otranto.

This is our second time to beautiful Otranto. It's a gorgeous town, one of our very favorites in Italy. It has a leisurely calm that we find appealing, not to say that there isn't also a nightlife. Our favorite restaurant is Balconcino d"Oriente-exceptional food and great people there. Many like the beaches; we love strolling and enjoying the view and atmosphere of this beautiful and historically-rich town.

The hotel is located a few minutes walk from the sea. I had a single room with a beautiful view of the pool, the city and also the sea. The hotel staff as well as the facilities, cleanliness, comfort and very helpful reception staff are a big plus. Otranto is a beautiful historic town, I definitely recommend the beach right in town. The gentle entry into the sea is very suitable for children and non-swimmers. The hotel also has a private beach available to guests for a fee.

We are very selective in choosing our locations. But this one checks all the boxes! The style (eclectic)… surf vibe meets Africa.. the location ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ with a view as if you’re looking at the savannah while just being 8” of Otranto and beaches… the pool is great. The house (we had the premium one but the other looks also great) was large with great style and a lovely spacious outside area. Host is the best too… for us this was the absolute best location ever!

This is outstanding accommodation - beautifully decorated, modern, spacious, comfortable bed, great shower. It was easy to find, just a10min walk to the Centro storico. Franco and his family were wonderful hosts. He secured a parking space right outside. The breakfast was superb - fruits, meats, pancakes and numerous delicious cakes. One of the BEST places we have stayed over countless trips to many countries.
