We came to Masseria Longa for our honeymoon and stayed for 2 weeks. It was truthfully the best holiday we have ever had. The Masseria is beautiful, truly beautiful and the staff simply couldn't do enough for us. As the Masseria is small everything felt so personal. From the moment of booking communication with Annamaria and Giulia was outstanding. Any question we had was answered quickly. Upon arrival they both made us feel incredibly welcome. They provided local recommendations, made reservations for us and helped us with our Italian! Beyond that both Annamaria and Giulia became our firm friends. Our room was amazing, clean and comfy with a touch of luxury with a huge hot tub bath, steam room and very large balcony. Marisa, who is one of the owners, ensured that every meal we had at the Masseria was cooked with love and everything was simply delicious. Marisa is a real gem, full of humour and again couldn't do enough for us both. Both owners are at the Masseria every day, again showing the care and dedication they have to their guests. The Masseria Longa are a family and we both feel so lucky to have been a part of that family for our honeymoon. Thank you to everyone who makes The Marissa Longa so special.

The staff made us feel very welcome. The accommodation was built with beautiful stonework and had an old world feel. The gardens were really nice with a nice planting scheme, fruit trees and a small farm area. This masseria had the added bonus of having a top notch restaurant. We dined there one evening with lovely food and wine then strolled back to our room. The setting for dining was ideal and the breakfast had a great selection. This is a very quite and private space created in lush green envirnoment. We would highly recommend this masseria.

The perfect spot for R&R with a kind and accomodating staff. The first day, they granted us early check-in and we relaxed by their outodor pool area. The room was spacious, well equipped and we slept exceptionally well. The next morning, they granted us late check-out so that we could have time to use their spa. The spa was perfectly indulgent: a warm pool, a cold plunge pool, a sauna, a turkish bath, and a warm and cold foot massage pool. Plus, the woman managing it was kind and caring; preparing for us plates with cookies and fruits.

This place was extraordinary. It is even better than the photos. Pool side is so luscious. Breakfast had such great variety. The staff was amazing. We stayed 5 days, had the dinner and lunch sometimes, too. Everything was delicious. The pool side bar staff were exceptionally helpful and always had a smile on their face. Would definitely recommend this place, slice of heaven.

We only stayed in Otranto for a day and a night, and will definitely be coming back! Centro Storico is really nice, and I would like to explore it more thoroughly. The castle is beautiful at night! Otranto would make a perfect location for exploring the southern heel of Puglia.

A comfortable size town to explore on foot.

A comfortable size town to explore on foot. Town, beaches and sea very clean. Host of eateries A place to relax and make return visits. Ideal for young families and adults not looking for nightlife. Restriction of local buses in October onwards.

I spent 11 nights in Otranto and used it to visit many areas...

I spent 11 nights in Otranto and used it to visit many areas in the southern most part of Puglia. It is a beautiful place with the warm Adriatic Sea to cool you down after the exertions of shopping and sight-seeing. Restaurants are plentiful but if I was to select one that we loved, it was Retro Gusto. Getting around Otranto is relatively stress free and if you enjoy people watching, then you are in your element in Otranto.

This is our second time to beautiful Otranto.

This is our second time to beautiful Otranto. It's a gorgeous town, one of our very favorites in Italy. It has a leisurely calm that we find appealing, not to say that there isn't also a nightlife. Our favorite restaurant is Balconcino d"Oriente-exceptional food and great people there. Many like the beaches; we love strolling and enjoying the view and atmosphere of this beautiful and historically-rich town.

Lovely. Beautiful beaches and great swimming spots. Beautiful old town with loads of restaurant options. Great base to explore the area from. Highly recommended. Definitely worth having a car though to get out to the beaches nearby such as Laghi Alimini. Lots of little beaches and rocky swimming spots nearby along the coast.

Otranto city itself is not special for us and we had two BAD...

Otranto city itself is not special for us and we had two BAD dinners there - imagine bad pizza in Italy! We much preferred the coastline and beaches in the surrounding area. Would not return to Otranto, will try Santa Maria di Leuca next time and do the coastal path and visit the western beaches.

A peaceful haven with lovely gardens set in the Puglian countryside and only a 10 minute drive from Otranto. The pool area is very welcoming after long days exploring the different towns and cities in the area and it overlooks the countryside with a view to the ocean in the distance. Breakfasts and dinners were delicious serving typical Puglian cuisine and even staying there for 6 nights the menu was different each evening. Also had the best tiramisu we have ever had!

It was one of our best stays in Puglia. The apartment is spacious, modern and comfortable. The windows overlook a quiet square. The apartment has everything we might need, including a kitchenette with a coffee machine. There is even a washing machine available for guests. The views from the terrace are wonderful. The owner is very nice and helpful. We will definitely come back :)

Beautiful accomodation and large room (super clean as well), amazing breakfast and super friendly owners. Everything was just perfect and the best place to stay in Otranto, only 10 minutes walking to the centre. We also enjoyed the beautiful pool and garden.
