The rooms are beautiful (Chinese style) and spacious. The homestay is located close by the Guilin city center but on a calm isle where you can find many restaurants and a running/biking lane. The staff was adorable, greeting us in the middle of the night when we arrived, helping us put together an itinerary, showing us around. We were only there for three days but it it felt like a stay with friends or family. Definitely would recommend.

Very nice hotel, excellent location and very helpful staff! The room is very well appointed and clean. The bed is super comfortable. Loved the shower and the bathtub, great laundry facilities and breathtaking view from the rooftop. I would definitely recommend it if you stay in Guilin!

Melody took care of us wholeheartedly. Our accommodation came with complimentary breakfast with Chinese and Western. The hostel is strategically located near Reed Flute cave just by 15 mins walk. The view is stunning with mountain and lake view. Will definitely come again if I visit Guilin!

A wonderful staff member collected us from the train station and provided us with water on arrival. We arrived before check in time, however the staff member brought out fruit for our children whilst we waited. They then also carried out bags up to our room for us also. Our room was incredible. The views from the room were beautiful and the room it's self was very spacious and clean. Beds were very comfy also. The balcony was wonderful with lovely seating. The bath overlooking the mountains was wonderful, our children particularly enjoyed this. Breakfast throughout our stay was delicious and freshly cooked with a lovely variety. On our final morning we heading down for breakfast- it was very heavy rain. We were met at the door to the rooms by a staff member with umbrellas and again they helped with our bags. Staff helped us book a driver for the day so we could visit longji rice terraces. They also offered advice on other areas when asked, and gave us some good tips etc. The reed flute caves are within walking distance from the hotel, elephants trunk and the sun and moon pagodas are around 20mins drive away. Longji rice terraces and Yangshuo are about 2 hours drive away. However with a driver booked for the day these trips are made far easier! We did it with 2 young children who also found it wonderful! This is a beautiful hotel, the attention to detail, hard work and hospitality is incredible. Felt like a home from home! We really hope to return in the future and our only regret would be not booking to stay longer this time!

The location is good. Close to Guilin attractions. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We took 1 family room and 1 double bed room. Family room had a little tent for kids and a toy ride. Staff were helpful. Alice helped with booking of Li River cruise. She was very attentive. Checked in on my other queries on transport closer to date, understanding my travel needs. Very helpful! Can text in English, some staff can speak decent English.

    Lao Dongjiang rice noodles are very close, highly recommended, they have local flavors that locals like to eat. This street is a street I visited, Shijiayuan Road, there are many snacks, etc. Opposite the hotel is Elephant Trunk Hill, Two Rivers and Four Lakes, which is very suitable for walking and taking pictures. It is beautiful during the day and even more beautiful at night.

    guilin is a famous tourist attraction, things to do include a river cruise, visits of the rice terraces, tea plantation, seven star park, or a river walk around sun&moon twin. might be rather crowded in high tourist season. be aware of the e-scooters, which are just everywhere and don't follow the traffic rules. besides this, it's save to walk, also on ones own, even at night. if you don't speak chinese, find a travel guide, who makes the booking and organises the tickets for you.

    Guilin is a city and all the cruise to Yangshuo starts here. Guilin has lively night shopping area and full of restaurants. It has a lake and it is ok to walk around at night and look at the pagodas. There is a famous cave nearby. I personally find Guilin to be good for overnight stay to catch the cruise ship to Yangshuo but I will not stay longer to explore the city.

    People like tranquil and beautiful sceneries will love to visit Guilin. Also, the local food streets give you big selection of food selection. An outstanding restaurant I would like to bring it up is, Ah Kim Chinese restaurant. We like their food so much, we ended up eating dinner there for 5 consecutive days.

    The town was lovely especially the Old Town with its street market at night. The Li River Cruise was disappointing because the weather was poor. Another time I would leaver longer to book and check the weather first - but I was off peak.

    Great view on the lake, superbe location next to major attraction and the pedestrian street. Rooms were comfy and warm. Extra bed was prepared in advance and we were also given two communicating room without having requested it. Every night a hot drink is given for each guest. Breakfast buffet is good with plenty of choice. On our day of departure they gave us a take away breakfast as we left the hotel before the opening of the restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the Lijiang waterfall hotel.

    Everything was Great!!! Maggie, the owner, was amazing! She helped us with everything! She and her facility/structure deserve a lot... Can't wait to visit Guilin again and I can definetely say I'll come back to Boujour Hotel. There's a plus as well, next to the hotel there is an excellent restaurant. They make many fresh homemade dish, and trust me if I say tha was good since with me there was a friend of mine who works like a Chef in Italy. Maggie thank you again, hopefully to be abck soon.     We spent two nights in Holiday Inn Guilin. The location is very central, next to the main shopping street and to the lake with pagodas. A lot of food options nearby. Very efficient and friendly, English speaking staff, that helped us when we forgot some items in the hotel. They have shipped it to our next destination. We used travel agency in the hotel to arrange a trip to the rice terraces. Rich breakfast with many options for everybody. Comfortable and clean rooms. We are very happy with our stay

    We loved everything about this very special boutique hotel! If we could, we would rate it higher than 10. Best service in all of hotels we stayed in China . Good breakfast. Especially the Guilin noodles. Our host made us a great barBque one night . It was my daughter’s birthday while we were there and I had preordered a cake and our host didn’t charge for it! He also arranged our private tours quickly when we arrived . Our favourite stay in China ! Loved it.
