The location of the hotel was within Ancient Town, really convenient! The room was spacious, comfortable bed, and very clean. Staff was very friendly! Connected with the hotel via WeChat before coming, and they were very helpful in directing me to the property. Would have loved to stay longer if I could!

I travelled with my family (three of us in total), and we stayed in the family room with a private bathroom. We had a truly memorable stay at this charming hotel, set in a beautifully preserved historical residential house. The experience was exactly what we were hoping for—and more. The room was slightly small for three, as expected for a traditional house of this kind, but it was thoughtfully furnished with antique-style furniture and equipped with modern amenities to ensure comfort.
The place was clean overall, and the reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is located just outside the west gate of the ancient city, in a quieter part of town, slightly away from the main street and attractions, which made it peaceful and relaxing—perfect after a day of exploring. Just be aware not to confuse it with the two other branches located inside the ancient city.

整个住宿环境非常干净整洁，前台工作人员也非常热情友好，给予了我们很多帮助。酒店位于古城西门外的安静区域，离主要街道和景点稍微一点远。但因为远离喧嚣，环境宁静，是一天游玩之后放松身心的好地方。需要注意的是，这家酒店不同于古城内的另外两家分店，预订时请仔细确认位置。

My stay at this inn in Pingyao Ancient City was an absolute delight! The moment I pushed open the carved wooden door, I felt as if I’d traveled back in time. The weathered brick walls and antique wooden furnishings told tales of over a century’s worth of history. Despite its tucked-away location in the ancient alleyways, the inn offers remarkable convenience, with major attractions and transportation hubs just a short distance away. What truly sets it apart is the tranquility—it’s a peaceful haven where the only sounds at night are the gentle rustling of leaves in the courtyard under the moonlight, melting away all my fatigue.
The innkeepers and their family were incredibly warm and attentive. They not only helped me plan my sightseeing itinerary in advance but also served me local snacks and warm tea with genuine hospitality. The rooms were cozy, well-decorated, and spotlessly clean. Combining rich historical charm with modern comforts, this inn is a hidden gem. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Pingyao!

店家非常热情好客，有任何吃、玩上的问题都可以请教，推荐的餐馆也都很好吃。店内有地暖冬天室内很暖和。地理位置也非常好距离古城中心步行仅五分钟。另外店家自家酿的醋味道不错。
The hosts are very nice, welcoming, and helpful. The restaurants and places they recommended to visit were spot on. There’s heating inside the inn so it’s very warm indoor in winter. The location of the inn is within 5 minutes walk from the center of Pingyao ancient city. They also make a variety of vinegar (many of which from fruits) that are quite nice like persimmon, cranberry, dates, apple, etc. Would definitely recommend.
