Self-Catering Accommodations in Kathikas

The rooms are built of stone and arranged in something like a courtyard, in a traditional village setting. the irregular courtyard & passages are partly covered in vines, and rich with other vegetation. Everywhere you look is green, stone and beauty. A lovely pool in the courtyard is steps away from your room. The rooms themselves are fantastic with stone walls on the inside and wonderfully arranged - a living space and not a hotel room. The complex appears to be bran new - and well designed with minute attention to detail. The restaurant, right across the path is lovely and provides a lovely breakfast which is included. Dinner there was excellent though on the expensive side. The village also has a traditional taverna a few min walk away which was packed every night with mostly local people. Kathikas is ideally located for exploring western Cyprus - it is 20 min away from the beach, 25 min from Paphos or the north coast. Though the first thing my wife said when we arrived was "why would we ever want to leave this place?" The staff was great. Seems like every person wears multiple hats - and all working to make you feel welcome. There was 0% friction & 100% relaxation.

We enjoyed the accommodation. Nice stone house and great location with restaurants nerby.

Lovely traditional stone building in the heart of Kathikas. It has a fireplace on the ground floor. We had a lovely time staying here and the host was very helpful and kind.

Very clean, nice and quiet place. Mr Marinos is a very helpful host.

Decor was great, clean and great location. The host was very helpful and polite.

Very cozy, comfortable, and quiet house. The kitchen is equipped extremely well, the garden is sooo cute. One of the best we had in Cyprus

Quaint village. House as shown in pictures. Much cooler in the village than closer to the sea. Hosts were excellent

Our stay in this house left only the most positive impressions. The service was flawless from the very first moment: the host personally waited for our arrival and carefully explained everything — what is where and how everything works. The house was already warm when we arrived, perfectly clean, and fully equipped with everything needed — from a coffee machine to a barbecue area. You can see that every detail has been thoughtfully considered to ensure comfort. The interior deserves special mention. This is not just accommodation, but a truly authentic atmosphere of a traditional Cypriot stone house from the last century. It has character, style, and a clear sense that a lot of soul and care were put into it. Great location, excellent cleanliness, outstanding interior, and top-level service. A place we would gladly return to and confidently recommend.

The place was beautiful, the photos made it look smaller, and it was bigger in reality. The place is super cozy, has everything you might need for your stay. The hosts left the hot tub ready for us, and we loved that we could use it upon arrival. We loved the location between the mountains, with all the green and the nature around it. I can't say enough how perfect it was

Unbelievably clean and modern yet quaint and cute. Everything one could need was provided. Amazing AC if you need it. All kitchen utensils. Staff is super responsive if you need to text to ask anything. Useful booklet provided about what there is to do in the area and all of the local restaurants- we loved Kyparissos and Fyto’s Grill (both 5 minutes or less drive from the cabin). You could also do some great cooking and BBQ’ing but we only stayed one night so we didn’t have time.

The villa was amazing and the owners were very kind

Very kind and helpful host. We got gift box at arrival, easy selfcheckin and the location is the best with amazing panorama.

I always have a good word for this hotel. Relax and enjoy Cyprus hospitality. Even though the drinks are expensive the food prices are very good! See you again very soon.

Only stayed for about 7 hrs before catching flight home. Aircon fantastic. Bed comfy. Everything you need. Free wifi. Great views. Great pool.

Wow — a perfect place, a beautiful blend of nature and comfort. The location is breathtaking, close to the Paphos Forest. We stayed in the charming cabin and it was incredibly cozy and pleasant. You can truly feel the heart of the owners in every detail — the care and love for the place and for the people who come. We recommend it wholeheartedly. A very special place — a vacation that leaves you wanting more🤍
