Self Catering Accommodation in Hackforth

The location is great. A really quiet place but only a short drive to nearby towns. The house was well equipped, the bed is comfortable and the log fire heats the house lovely. We chose to stay over new years in the hope of finding a property away of the NYE fireworks that frighten our dog. This cottage was perfect and achieved what we wanted.

This has to have been one of the most comfortable and beautifully appointed apartments we have stayed in over the years. The owners have thought of absolutely everything. We were sad to leave!

Gorgeous stay and cabin, view was amazing and sheep were so close. Complimentary chocolates, bread and milk and flour came in useful as we forgot to bring when making the pizzas. Also received a complimentary late checkout which was amazing. Would definitely visit again

Everything. The cottage is beautifully decorated and like a home from home. Warm, safe and located in a lovely village with a long road you can take jogs or just walk up and down and take in the country views. It is located next to a pub but it is quiet and if your a drinker or like eating out.. the menu looks great. The nearest shop is a 15 min drive at most.. so convenient to get your day to day items. There is a beautiful wood burner and a great easy chair and comfortable sofa to relax in. It has been decorated through out to a high standard. The patio garden is private and when the sun comes out there are a few good sun spots to find where you can just sit and relax. The shower works just fine plenty of hot water. The owners are delightful and kind and I cannot thank them enough for their hospitality. . The kitchen is well equipped and there is plenty of everything that you need..a home away from home.

Such a lovely cottage, fairly cool in the heatwave. Garden a good size for our dog. Everything we would need in a kitchen and the tv for late evening. Hot tub great, even when hot outside - it's in the shade and there was a lovely breeze. Comfy beds and sofas inside and so light and airy throughout, bathroom especially. Welcome pack (bread, milk, butter etc) which was really thoughtful and handy!

Spacious, modern and exceptionally clean. Centrally located, but the soundproofing made street noise barely noticeable. The property was pleasantly warm, and the tv showing a log fire was a lovely welcoming touch.

Lovely little cottage. Decorated beautifully, with lots of 'cottage character' and everything you could need. Host was really responsive and helpful. Excellent location, 50 yards from the High Street, but lovely and peaceful.
