Self Catering Accommodation in Halstead

quiet street, close to the center, next to a playground for children, clean, modern, designer, spacious, water, salt, sugar were waiting for us, parking slot

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Everything was spotless and fitted out to a very high standard. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the place is very spacious. We sat outside on the patio and had breakfast which was lovely. Simon and Joy were epic hosts and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back when next in the areas. The castle is literally just opposite. Thanks for your hospitality!

Lovely quiet location. Lake for cold water swimming. Horses in the paddock. Limited light pollution so good for star gazing. Comfortable apartment.

Stunning cottage in a beautiful location. Cottage is well equipped, clean, and comfortable.

Attention to detail, the interior design was beautiful, very very clean, love the food and breakfast, high quality linen, towels and fittings. A beautiful home. Wished we could have stayed longer, there was an amazing sunset right outside the rear door. Amazing.

Lovely house, nice and tidy and the facilities were great!

Comfortable bed, large room, ideal conditions.

A very welcoming home from home, run by the charming and kindly Sandra. Fascinating house full of history, with turning stairs and exposed beams aplenty - at the same time equipped with every mod con you could think of! Fantastic value and an extraordinary place to visit, and super convenient for the very pleasant town of Halstead.

It’s a lovely two bedroom cottage to stay in, in a gorgeous village. Comfortable beds, perfect bathrooms and a relaxing kitchen diner. I loved having a morning coffee outside on the patio overlooking the duck pond and it was a great place to have a drink in the evening too. The farm shop cafe with a delicious breakfast next door and The Victory pub for a delicious meal, only 2 minutes walk away were the icing on the cake. Thanks Hazel. X

The charm of the cottage. We as a family have booked this 4/5 times over the years, & have always enjoyed our stays. Thank you once again

The lodge was superb. Very clean, very well thought out and comfortable. The enclosed patio area was perfect for the dogs and it was easy to park next to the property. The standard of furniture, fixtures and fittings was very high and the property was decorated tasetfully.

Everything it was fabulous, Julie and Ray are exceptional hosts, the place is brand new, so comfortable and spotlessly clean

Reasonably cheap, clean, warm.

Very well thought out, every details was brilliant.

It’s a very cosy cottage type building. Very clean and comfortable
